Dear,

I would like to know if forged photos are allowed in coin sales?

I recently bought a lot that contained a photo with the following.

Clearly stated year 1950 written on a piece of paper with 12 coins on it.
Back side was also drawn with the same coins. Back on a piece of paper 1950.
There are 2 versions of this. Belgium and Belgium. On the photo you can clearly see 11 from Belgium and 1 from Belgium. The one from Belgium is rare.

So I offer to have those of Belgium. What I got was 11 coins 1950 belgique and 1 of 1951 Belgium.

So I wonder what catawiki is up to when they allow this? This is clearly counterfeit and deception and yet they are paying this seller out. Or the woman who watched this did not understand me at all and without even looking at my reply on their decision day, switched to paying the cheater herself.

Here the lot in question.

I don't think it's allowed. If you contact Catawiki tomorrow the money is probably not yet paid to the seller.

We as collectors know nothing about it ...
