Beheerder Ivo moet welicht even in de lucht komen?
Wouldn't that have been split on purpose? One Le * turama is a restart of the other, after bankruptcy.
Makes it unclear (and uncontrollable if no colophon is placed), but in fact it is not strange. Administrator Ivo may have to come on the air for a while?

In any case, the split was intentionally maintained.
It may be that the booklets are not all correct yet, but there is still a nice task for this or that person.

It is strange that they both have the same Chamber of Commerce number, if they are different companies.

Please also merge the publishers Semic, Semic Press and Semic (Finnish).
The publisher is officially called Semic Press and that is also stated in the albums with only the text Semic on the front or back page. Furthermore, the company is from Finland (in the Dutch versions at least it says printed in Finland), but I think it has / had a branch in Amsterdam, because it says Semic Press Amsterdam.
At the moment there is much confusion in these three publisher names. You can see that in the series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. , but there are many more that are spread across these 3 publisher names / aliases.

Never confuse the country where it is printed with the country where the publishing house comes from, it is rarely the same. Semic Netherlands later merged with JuniorPress in an attempt to survive.
Semic and Semic Press could be merged. I would keep foreign daughters separate anyway.

And that merger will only take effect the next morning (batch)? I now see 3 different versions of Semic Press, but the Finnish version has disappeared?
I think it is wonderful that you can learn so much about the history of items, publishers or other categories via this forum .

It won't be seen in your collection until the next morning, yes. In the catalog directly.
But I haven't done anything, so someone else is already working on it, probably.

Bedankt!
Can "Napoleon and Uncle Elby" be merged with "Napoleon". Originally it appeared under the name of Napoleon, later an Uncle Elby was added. It also appeared in the weekly magazine Spirou under the name Napoleon.

I think Eagle was confused with magazines. I find it quite confusing with comics, because the manual is not very clear about it. When I look at the covers and the titles on them, I get completely different titles. I think the titles are the titles of the first stories, but that is against the rules of the manual, isn't it?
@tazosrus: If you see comics or other CataWiki items that appear several times and certainly know that they are the same, then you can rename them yourself. Look at the best-entered item, where it is most clearly identifiable which item it is, and use its CataWiki number. Rename all those other copies in duplicate from XXXX, where XXXX stands for the aforementioned CataWiki number.
Administrators often look for duplicates and check if it is correct and delete or merge the duplicates if there are hang on.
I see many more doubles in the American comics, including Fantastic Four.
There are variants: Newsstand and Direct, but I have not come across them here
