What is the difference between the two items 23305 and 2056701 ? For me this is one and the same edition. But undoubtedly one of you will indicate to me that my eyes are not completely open in 2015 ... Everyone has a great year!

It concerns 2 different editions of this Jeremiah. One album was released in Belgium as a Novedi album. The other album was released in the Netherlands by Albracht on behalf of Novedi.

You will find these combinations more in Flemish and Dutch comic publications.

Ok, so far I can follow ... however, I find it very difficult to determine which one was published by Novedi: 23305 ; Novedi / Albracht publications and the other at Albracht on behalf of Novedi 2056701 ; Novedi editions .... and still, I still don't know what album I have in my hand

If there is no 'Albracht' anywhere on pages 1 and 2, then you have a Novedi issue.

No, this is incorrect.

You will find the first edition here

OK .... I think it's because I search by name, better select by publisher and press ... Thanks

This deluxe edition of Jeremiah, "Mercenaries", has a pasted-in ex-libris. 23349 Photo 3. The ex-libris varies. I think there are about 8 to 10 different prints. Can we add it as a separate variant in the catalog?

I don't think so although I haven't encountered this question yet. The ex-libris was later added (pasted) to the album. We only include variants that were added during manufacture, such as the well-known sticker sheets from Suske en Wiske.

But a discussion about this is fine in my opinion ....

Since it is completely unknown which print is in which numbered album, it is simply not possible to split it.

After some extra research it turns out that there are at least 11 different bookplates. One is already in the catalog, I can add 8 from my own collection and 2 others have been spotted at past auctions. The numbering per print is largely in groups, but not always.

I think the prints were part of the production, Hermann first signed the ex-libris, then they were glued in and probably only after that the albums numbered.

I could already enter 8 items with three photos and description "The different prints are included in the catalog as a separate variant, image 3. All variants share the same numbering 1-300." Is it roughly in line with the conventions?

Please don't.

Of course you can simply enter the pictures separately in the section where they belong. In the Comics section we limit ourselves to one book, with the comment that there are several prints.

It has been said before, but this problem could easily be solved if there was a possibility (with selected items) to place more than the standard 3 images.

In this case I suspect that the images from the Portfolio Mercenaries were used for these pasted ex-libris. In the details of the album you can refer to 3793197 , for example.

And with the prints in that series it should be stated that they were also used as ex-libris in the deluxe edition ( 23349 ). (On the copies where that fact has been verified, of course.)
