As a collector/buyer (of comics), I would like to ask the sellers/shops to post their own photos of the items/comics for sale.
I notice that many sellers/shops use photos from the catalogue, as a result of which they do not correspond to the offered comics/items.
An example: I buy a strip S&W nr 24a (indicated in the seller's shovel, with photos and info from catalogue) upon receipt it turns out to be nr 24b.
To avoid these "misunderstandings", it is according to necessary for me to add my own photos of the offered item. All parties benefit from this:
-the buyer: has an immediate picture of the offered item and the correct or incorrect price
-the seller: less e-mail traffic about the offered item and no later discussion about the condition of the item (strip) (new condition/good/reasonable/bad)
As a buyer, you can also ask to take photos, but I also see a shop as a "store": step the "shop" and immediately see the condition of the comic/item
You can also use a filter to check the sellers who include their own photos in their shop, but this way you can view the same item/comic (without your own photos, but photos from the catalogue) that may be in a better condition (because what is new condition/reasonable condition/poor condition?) and are offered at an interesting price
In short I think there is a win for all parties (seller/buyer) -win situation arises if you always include your own photos of the offered items/comics in the seller's shop.
Mvg, Etienne

Thank you for your feedback Etienne, ET301

Yes, it would be nice if as many sellers as possible post their own photos.
It also increases the sales opportunities because you can indeed easily filter on your own photos in the marketplace and shops:

We think obliging your own photos is going too far.
The condition offered must always be correct and the correct item must of course be offered.
This is also stated in the rules for sellers that every seller must adhere to.

Perhaps sellers can be made more aware of the importance by means of a friendly pop-up, if they want to place items with a price of more than e.g. 25 euros, in less than new condition (otherwise you will get that message with a lot of brand new releases, which is also annoying).

I notice that it sells better, that's why I already have 25,000 of my own scans, and I still need about 15,000.
and then a drink

We want to give new users tips based on what they do on the site. That's where this idea of yours would fit in well Boekenmagazijn. I do think that you have to show that message a number of times and not always because at some point people will know that we think it is better for them if they add their own photos in the situation you describe.

Rene On other sites, popups have a checkmark "Do not show this message again in the future." Then the user chooses whether he wants the notification or not, but that does require some programming to set up a notification model for each user.

How can I select the items in my shop that don't have my own photo,
so that I can add them.

That is currently not possible.
Is a good suggestion to be able to select this in your own shop.

Good morning. I work on an IMAC that creates PNG files. Until recently, there was no problem at all to add 'old-fashioned' or drag and drop files to my cigar bands. At the moment this is no longer possible on a regular basis, but strangely, sometimes it does?!. Even when I save a rejected PNG file as a JPG file, I still get the message that PNG files cannot be used. What is going on ? Regards Ysco

PNG files should not be a problem. Are the files not too big?
Do you know exactly when things go wrong?
