At Comics there is a series: Kinderwereld (magazine) and under Magazines there is a magazine: The Children's World
As no image has been added to the Comic Series Children's World, it is the ask whether this magazine really exists and/or whether this is the same as De Kinderwereld which can be found in Magazines.
Who can provide a definitive answer?

No covers, no sellers, no collectors, no seekers.
I would just delete them all.
What no one has does not need to be in the catalog, even if it exists.

My thought too, but you will always see that the moment you remove it, copies are suddenly entered :-)
Just wait and see if there are more reactions.

Even if you leave this series, there is a good chance that such a magazine will be entered as a new item. And do you want it as a duplicate at Comics, or rather directly at Magazines?

As far as I'm concerned, all those blank Bonte items can be removed. Just like in the stamp section, for example, all FDCs without an image, which come from the CAR database. It is not allowed to enter new "placeholders", then it makes sense to delete the old ones as well. They have already had 12 years to complete the information, time for a major cleaning.

It would be most obvious if the programmers could block the use of the "Magazine" Type on input in the Comics section. Just like the "Cutout" Kind, by the way. Then everyone is forced to use a different section.
I just can't foresee whether such an intervention would have undesired consequences when edit of items.

Agree with you, stripspeldjes .
Blocking both clipping and magazine. The only question is whether that is possible.

I am in the process of making lists for Tammo and Jilles with items that may need to be transferred to another section, now mainly to Magazines. I find a lot of items that don't have an image. The so-called placeholders.
I would also remove them to do a big cleaning. Especially if only summary data has been entered.
After all, we have imposed an obligation everywhere to place at least one image, in some sections even more.

I also saw those Kinderwereld items. I'm also not sure whether those two "series" are the same.
The KB catalog states the following (2x by the way):
3. † The world of children : illustrated magazine for boys and girlsLouwerse , P. / Schillemans & Van Belkum / 1894-1931
Only Wikipedia states that the Flemish magazine Kinderwereld stopped publishing in 1926.
https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Ge%C3%AFllustreerde_Kinderwereld
There seem to be two different issues: a Dutch one from Schillemans and Belkum and a Belgian one from Patria in Antwerp.

I scanned a description of the Dutch from the Bibliography Het illustrated Tijdschrift in Nederland - part 1 (1840-1945):

Gr. Peter
