how can I search my shop by catalog number?

When you're in your shop, there's a search field right above the items. I think you can fill in a catalog number there and search.
I don't have any stamps in my shop, so I can't check.

If I click on the marketplace / Stamps / your shop.
Then in the search field just above the items enter for example the catalog number 2784, I get :

in my shop i go to iceland, 126 item,s i put in the top bar number 95
and I get to see 1 stamp, with numbers
Michel number
52
Yvert number
51
Scott number

That is the disadvantage that you search with only 2 digits, because you are not only searching in the catalog fields, but in all the information associated with that item.
Search for 686, not in the top search bar, but in the search bar just above the items.

In the middle of the screen is a magnifying glass, this opens a search bar.
With this you can find everything, but you also run the risk of finding unwanted things.

Collectioneur why disadvantage? If I now type 95 then I must also apparently have 95.
and that in the search bar above the items and I get to see 1 item.
like I said. with no number 95
with 686 I also get 1 item
Michel number
657
Yvert number
610
Scott number
631
Stanley Gibbons number
686

so it works there.
but it should also work with number 95 right?

aartinge Read my previous post to leonadri.
You are not looking for catalog number 95 but for everything with 95 : 195, 295, 395, 950, 951, 952, 95 years, 95th birthday, ... so everything.

Perhaps in an originally abused field that is now no longer visible?
NVPH bv. is one such, and a few things were placed in it for CaR for stamps outside the Netherlands.
The field is no longer visible now, but it still exists. And the content has never been emptied.
Could it be?

It could very well be that this is the cause of the 95.
But searching on only 2 characters remains difficult, because everything is searched for that item.

Gentlemen, if I search for 95 in Aart's shop, I do find hits with SPATIE95. So a really empty place for that 95. For example #355883 , with an edition of 9.508.700 But then you do search for 3 characters, because that space also counts.

No problem with hits, I gave the example Iceland, but it goes too far if even History is also searched for 95, I assume that a search function is for 95% intended to find a catalog number.
apparently it's also so smart to even find a seller's input data.
how hard can you make it.
With the magnifying glass you will also see 100 hits from the seller if someone happens to be called Bloem from his last name.
in that sense it becomes unclear.

That search field is not special for catalog numbers, it is a search field that searches in the selected shop items. These can be stamps, but also comics, books, records, etc.

There is the text next to the magnifying glass; search in the selection or by catalog number.
if I search for Music as an example ; ABBA and at the magnifying glass 1995 in type, then I get to see 3 items from 1995.
there it just works as it should, and I don't get to see another item where 1995 is hidden somewhere between the history or changes or input.

At shops, the notes for the items for sale are also searched, but you don't have that field in the catalog. If 95 is written somewhere in those own notes, you will see that reflected in the results when searching in your shop.

Collectioneur I'm glad I never use the magnifying glass,
if I give a command for example in excel and I have to multiply something, then you can decide for yourself what he should multiply,
Similarly with a search, you can exclude History.
so that you don't get a seal that doesn't comply with the assignment, I'm just saying that the magnifying glass should be intended "for catalog numbers, and so it says; " search in the selection or by catalog number.
and if you're looking for something else, you can still use the top bar; "Search the stamp catalogue
but let's stop. I'm going to drink coffee

The difference is that only that spreadsheet and our search field are used by thousands of people.
The top search field searches at the level of a section (or entire catalog). The second search field searches the selection you have made and this works very well.
The stamp section specifically states that catalog numbers are also searched for, which was requested at the time.

As stripspeldjes also indicates, history is not searched.

stripspeldjes Are you showing this? this is from the history of item #360351
the seal I show above that doesn't have 95 in it, then only in history.
So apparently he is looking in the History.Collectioneur
Why else is this seal shown?

That seal is shown because in your shop there is a number 95 with that item with the shipping costs (corresponding notes).
