What is the best way to loosen cigar bands stuck in a book on paper?

If this topic already exists, my question can be removed. If someone can give me the link to the thread that already exists. Thanks.

Certainly not with water! Have I ever tried ... apparently the printing ink of cigar bands can't handle that. I have a few 'white' series.

If they are stuck it is almost impossible to remove them cleanly without damaging them.
What sometimes helps a bit is to put the sheets with those tapes stuck in the freezer for a few days. Then there is a chance that they are a little easier to remove.
If not too much adhesive has been used: with tweezers underneath and a little pry, all around. I have already saved some of them.
As soon as you notice that it doesn't 'dissolve' it is better to keep them together with the fragment.

I myself use a marker edding 8180 Labels löser, if this doesn't work then tear away the back except for the pasted part. The condition is that you sacrifice this leaf and there may be no other bands. Good luck

There is a stamp remover that is applied to the underside of the sheet under the band. Sounds nice!

Adhesives such as velpon and collal can be removed with acetone. This may be superfluous.

my experience : wet a kitchen towel with hot water , wring it out .
put them on your sheet with straps, and put something heavy on top (about 10 min on it)
so I've already released a lot
