I was just looking at the silver guilders and I wondered if the values are still in line with the current silver prices.
A Ned. guilder weighs about 6 grams and that is good for about 2.50 euros and with "good" I read € 0.50 and with "nice" € 1.00.
In this way, more and more will go into the melting pot or is this also the intention? They are becoming increasingly rare.

You are absolutely right and I have already posted about this extensively in another thread today.

http://forum.catawiki.nl/forums/catawiki-nieuws…

The melting value of a silver guilder is approximately € 1.70, so that is the minimum value, no matter how damaged the coin is. that is why in the future I want to link the prices of gold and silver coins with a small premium to the daily price of gold and silver. (e.g. gold price plus 20%, again depending on quality). The same goes for prices from shops that can then offer competitive prices without having to adjust the prices all the time.
In addition to the values per quality, also note the metal value, which is actually the bottom value.
