Wouldn't it be better to include “vol 1” in the album series name to make the sort order in the album series name list more logical?
take a look at Fathom there is vol 3 separated from the vol 1 which would make more sense that they are one after the other

Maybe not logical (you probably mean alphabetically) but as it should be, because there are often multiple series within a hero that use vol 1 over and over again, which is why it is not used (in catalogs), but works with release data. You cannot just put series of a series in alphabetical order by means of names that do not exist of course. This is also the case nowhere else in Catawiki. There is still a lot of new input wrong with the album series, in the sense of a Batman comic under “Batman” I prefer that this could be placed a bit more clearly at the input info because I can no longer see Batman for the trees with all those comics in the wrong place. Some help in this area with appropriate information would be welcome. I modified Fathom for you without affecting an existing series name. 3 is now under 1 and 2.

let's take a look at batman and it's a big mess
will not be easy to unravel, especially because there is little data on comicspriceguide.com it is very difficult to search for the issues and think that is why people have problems to give the correct name for the album series
am going to try with some other databases but then I have the problem that the album series naming is not like comicspriceguide.com
but if the issues that belong together are already under the same name, it is easy to make them uniform afterwards with the name in comicspriceguide.com

@ Even1975 Yes you are right, Batman is temporary just a bit of chaos but that seems logical if someone puts all comics under Batman for days ... I usually just let someone like that go for a while, it is done by itself, and what you say, it will be very simple later on to put the comics under the right series in 1x and to review them. The data of series that matter (long-running) are already in Catawiki, it usually concerns the mini-series or tpb's that have to be treated afterwards. I myself periodically update the series of the greatest heroes. But this inconvenience, as I often read from you (..) of course, is not due to CPG , but due to the very large number of series of heroes such as Spider-man, X-Men. , Superman and Batman. Now you may also have a better sense of what I meant a few months ago with my comment that we'd better put the most important series in Catawiki first, remember? Many (still ignorant) users are now doing something with this example as a result: using the hero name as an album series. It seems logical for many, they do not read the input instructions or do not read them properly. With a little effort, users can easily find any existing (!) Series at CPG , especially for administrators. I have already indicated that this should also be clearly stated in the info of the album series and I have just e-mailed this to René again. Entries of series names in other databases such as CPG are most likely not based on the American standard in terms of naming, so invented. That is why it is not very wise to drop it here again, that would only cause more confusion. The existing USA series names are all from 1910-present in CPG .

Got a few more Batman Magazines from Baldakijn here, going for numbers 13 and 20. Okay, the state of 20 isn't great, but how am I going to add this one before I make it an even bigger mess. : P

If you type Batman magazine in the search bar, you will get the correct series. They are all just there, only missing at 13 the photo.

Am also sometimes blind, but thanks for the report. I also immediately added a scan of number 13. Assumed that was a subtle hint: "They're all just in there, just missing at 13 the photo."

You're welcome. Perhaps an unnecessary question, but have you already taken the tour via the homepage? There are several questions that you are now wondering and asking in the forum are already answered. Maybe it will help you.
