Sets with several wagons are best photographed in the box. if this box has a transparent lid, remove it because of reflection. Flash light often gives annoying glare.

Or, whatever is possible, without flash but with added light, so aim a large halogen lamp at the ceiling and turn it on at full power. Not on the object itself. What is also very good is to just shoot outside. Looks a bit crazy, but the light is very good for this kind of thing.

another method is to pull an A4 sheet out of your printer and hold it in front of your flash while you print. But this depends on your device whether it compensates properly.

But for shiny parts, for example - just try to put a chrome part somewhere good in the photo - then the outside air without flash is often sufficient. In the summer, wait until the sun almost sets.

My two cents (1973 mint and 1988 MIB) (kidding)

Bert (Mussel)

Nothing beats a light tent. And it can even be improvised fairly quickly for the occasional photographer with a plain white sheet.
