I received a religious medal from my grandfather, of which I have no idea what it represents and what its value is.

it is a medal in original box of 'Brom' from Utrecht

made of bronze, diameter of 8.6 cm, very high relief, from 1923

on one side is a chapel, with a bird with 'rays of light' at the top of the chapel

on the other side a coat of arms with a large cross in the middle, at the top of the coat of arms again the bird with 'rays of light' and above the coat of arms a crown with 'dots' and on top of the crown a cross. a ribbon with Latin text runs underneath the coat of arms

on both sides of the medal are Latin texts all around the edge

Does anyone have an idea what this medal represents and what its value is????

whoever thinks he can help me with this, can send me an email, so I can email you photos of the medal back.

thanks!

Unfortunately, it happens too often that people here ask such a question for the sole purpose of selling the item via marketplace / ebay afterwards.

I would say, just enter the token in the catalog (can here ) with what you do know about it. Then everyone can see what it is about and you have a good chance that others can add to that information.

Incidentally, the email address in your post will be removed by a moderator. Not to bully you, but just to protect you from spam robots, nor is it necessary because you can always reach anyone through the internal mail system.
