This collection is now entered as a continuous line. Is it an idea to put these in year series, something like the Stripnieuws magazines, but per year (instead of year)?
For example, the actual numbering is stated like this in the magazine: No. 160 (7) of 30/09/2008.
If it can be split, I will undertake to do this if they agree.

Sounds like a great idea.

Since they just keep numbering from the beginning, I don't see the point of doing that. Please explain, please

I thought that selecting the journal in question will make it easier, because now you have to go through a whole list.
Choosing a year, followed by the relevant number, works faster than clicking a tab somewhere and hoping to be nearby.
Comic news has also been introduced into Catawiki in a similar way. While that magazine also has a consecutive numbering, which is written on the inside of the magazine.
Suppose you own number 97 2001, you click on the year 2001 and find number 97 at a glance,
Now you have to randomly click a tab at the bottom and scroll and search.

At Stripnieuws they stopped doing that a long time ago. Maybe you are confused with Schapnieuws, the pages that Het Stripschap fills with association matters. They number them, but that is a heading IN the magazine.
I agree that grouping is easier on the one hand, but on the other hand you should also guess in which year the number is, because that year is not the main thing, is it?
You are right that it can work faster.
Difficult, this.

I have now picked up a Brabant strip, and indeed, the year is not on the cover of the magazine, but as soon as you turn the page you will see nr. 160 (7) of 30/09/2008 in bold. In my opinion this is not difficult to find. A little collector will not be able to find this, right?
ISBN songs you sometimes have to search in the album, especially the older albums.
And about COMIC NEWS , you are indeed right, at first glance you would think it would be the numbering of the magazine itself. I thought it was so strange.

If the year and number of that year were used (2008 (7)) instead of the serial number over the years (160), then that would have one advantage:
If later at Brabant Strip If you decide not to continue numbering or to start with a new numbering, it might be very complicated otherwise.

To “reopen” this topic for a moment, Is it or not a good idea to divide the journals into year series, or let's just leave it that way, the continuous input?
Your comments please.

Some points from my side:
1. I myself would never want to see a different number in the serial number field than is stated on the cover of the magazine.
2. If we are going to split into volumes, then I have a great preference for "Volume 1990" etc… instead of "5th volume" in the field album series. Then it also adds something in terms of date in the series menu on the left.
I suggest we discuss this in the next administrator meeting.

I don't care (if I can also add some money). If you also know that 40 items are shown per page, you also know that number 241 must be somewhere on page 7. To keep the catalog a bit unambiguous, I would like to argue for the same system as is now used in Spirou magazine, which now says something like 1942 number 167.
Apart from the numbering discussion: if you search Brabant strip magazine you will encounter two entries with a difference of 1 space. Maybe you would like to take a look at that and yet also at the magazines that have now been entered twice.

Brabant Strip has been corrected.
And as for the magazines: every advantage hep their disadvantage. That is why I think it should be discussed before a decision is taken.
