Ik heb onder andere item 1683853. Tenminste gezien de foto's in de catalogus gelijk aan mijn item. Maar de schaal is 1:32 en nu vraag ik me af hoe groot is dat eigenlijk? Het item wat ik bezit is ca. 2,4 cm hoog. Er zijn verder geen aanduidingen op het model van merk of iets dergelijks dus ik heb het alleen gevonden door te vergelijken in de catalogus. Of moet ik misschien bij een andere serie zoeken? Wellicht heeft iemand hier een antwoord op, alvast dank daarvoor.
I have among others item 1683853. At least seen the photos in the catalog equal to my item. But the scale is 1:32 and now I wonder how big is that actually? The item I own is about 2.4 cm high. There are no further indications on the model by brand or anything like that so I only found it by comparing in the catalog. Or should I look for another series? Ja zo had ik dus ook gedacht maar misschien is de schaal aanduiding niet goed in de catalogus of moet ik bij een andere serie zoeken want mijn exemplaar is een stuk kleiner en geloof niet dat de Engelsen in die periode zo klein waren. Want mijn model is wel precies hetzelfde qua uitvoering.
Yes, that's what I had thought too, but maybe the scale indication is not right in the catalog or I should look for another series because my copy is a lot smaller and I don't believe that the English were that small in that period. Because my model is exactly the same in execution.
Als je dan kijkt bij item 4736831 daar staan dezelfde items die ik ook heb maar dan in de verhouding 1:76, wat natuurlijk verhoudingsgewijs veel beter uit zou komen met mijn exemplaar. Dus klopt item 1683853 niet qua verhouding of is het een andere serie of moet ik gewoon ergens anders zoeken of opnieuw invoeren.
If you look at item 4736831 there are the same items that I also have, but in the ratio 1:76, which would of course work out much better with my copy. So item 1683853 is incorrect in terms of ratio or is it a different series or should i just search or re-enter elsewhere.

Hoe kan ik zien of ik de items van 1977 of van 1989 heb? Is het wijs om de items in de catalogus in te voeren als zijnde de serie van 5005? Wederom alvast thx voor het meedenken.

Speelgoedsoldaatjes (van de officiele fabrikanten zoals Matchbox, Airfix of Esci) zijn er doorgaans in 2(4) schalen 1.32(1.35) of 1.72 (1.76) (de laatste schaal komt verreweg het meeste voor) hoe hoger het getal achter de komma, hoe kleiner het figuurtje is. Als je interesse in soldaatjes groter dan dat ene figuurtje is de site "plasticsoldierreview" een aanrader.

Toy soldiers (from the official manufacturers such as Matchbox, Airfix or Esci) usually come in 2(4) scales 1.32(1.35) or 1.72 (1.76) (the latter scale is by far the most common) the higher the number after the decimal point, the higher the number. smaller the figure is. If you are interested in soldiers bigger than that one figure, the site "plasticsoldierreview" is a must.
