Met de eeuwwisseling in het vooruitzicht, heeft de (Franse) uitgeverij L’Association een lijvig boekdeel op de markt gebracht waar honderden striptekenaars van over de hele wereld een bijdrage aan hebben geleverd.
Dat boek is in mijn bezit en ik wil het dan ook toevoegen aan de catalogus. Vandaag begonnen met alle meewerkende tekenaars toe te voegen. Vooraleer verder te doen, een vraagje: is dat zinvol? Het steekt me niet op de moeite ze allemaal in te brengen, verre van. Alleen wil ik graag weten of het nodig is.

With the turn of the century approaching, the (French) publisher L'Association has released a voluminous tome to which hundreds of cartoonists from all over the world have contributed.
That book is in my possession and I want to add it to the catalog. Today started adding all contributing artists. Before continuing, a question: does that make sense? It doesn't bother me to bring them all in, far from it. I just want to know if it is necessary.

Er is toch een probleemke, vermoed ik, met het invoeren van alle auteurs. Zo heb ik geprobeerd er vandaag nog een tiental toe te voegen, maar ik zie die niet verschijnen in de lijst op de hoofdpagina van het boek in kwestie. Kan het zijn dat de ruimte daarvoor te beperkt is?
In totaal zijn er 324 auteurs uit 29 landen die daar hun plaatsje verdienen…
Hoe verder? (voorlopig hou ik er even mee op, met dit boek bedoel ik dan hé! :-))

I suspect there is a problem with entering all authors. For example, I tried to add a dozen more today, but I don't see them appearing in the list on the main page of the book in question. Could it be that the space is too limited for that?
In total there are 324 authors from 29 countries who deserve their place there…
