I often see the following abbreviations next to offered comics: S7, S8, D14, etc. What do they mean?

Kind regards,
Frank

Fluwijn
You will have to ask those sellers who use these abbreviations.

Thanks, I assumed it was something general. I've asked the seller the question in the meantime.

Possibly the place where the book is located: rack 7, box 14

I bought a Tintin comic (in good condition). Ten pages were missing... You can't really call that a big deal! Luckily, I was allowed to return the comic.

Regarding the abbreviations, they do indeed indicate where the comics can be found.
Thanks for the responses.

An incomplete album is always in poor condition. Unfortunately, not every seller is aware of this. It's also possible that the seller didn't properly inspect the album when listing it. This isn't helpful with these antique Tintins. Fortunately, the seller resolved the issue effectively.

That's double.
Because even during the sale/shipment, the comic wasn't checked...
Extra work and hassle for all parties...
It will always be there right...???
