I've changed four comics, including #11534719 , to duplicates, but they're still listed as such in the catalog. This makes me wonder if I did it right. If not, my apologies. By the way, the catalog number will automatically take you to the other three.

If you are convinced that an item is duplicated in the catalog, edit the item that should be removed as follows:
Change title (complete in all language fields) to: DOUBLURE xxxxxxxxx
(xxxxxxx = catalog number of the item that should remain)
The xxxxxxxxx is missing from the example, and probably from the others as well. It's difficult to find.

stripspeldjes there are so many comics that are not numbered and signed, just like so many ex libris etc, should they all be listed separately?

First question is indeed for DELGADITO: the fact that abc is deliberately numbered suggests that the importer wants it that way.
Second question is for administrators: rikMooren What does the manual say about unnumbered or overprinted items?

According to 1.9 of the manual, you can consider this a variant and therefore not a duplicate:

DELGADITO

I have reverted Delgadito's changes because they are indeed not duplicates.

Collectioneur The question is reversed: if the edition is numbered, what does the manual say about 1 unnumbered copy?
rikMooren And with “excess pressure” in specifics?
The most important rule of LD is "printed in limited editions." I also have an unnumbered copy of something that was never released. I'm not going to implement that.

"Numbered" books are printed without a number. The number is imprinted separately later (possibly by hand). There are numerous examples of so-called limited and numbered editions, of which the unnumbered versions were subsequently released.
Circulation numbers of (unnumbered) comic books are rarely published.

Correct. In fact, numbered and unnumbered copies are part of the same printing run. We considered whether we should enter an album once or whether we should enter a separate entry for each type of numbering. Ultimately, we opted for the latter. For some unnumbered copies, or surplus copies, a good publisher is ethical enough not to release them.
