A copy of the most expensive pin ever, a 1936 Tintin badge for Le Petit Vingtième subscribers (Catawiki 942997 ) is currently listed for sale on eBay. It looks like a much nicer copy than Artcurial and will undoubtedly yield more than the starting bid.

Gezien de mooie blauw-witte C op haar plaatjes denk ik dat Catawiki bezwaar kan aantekenen tegen het onrechtmatig gebruik van Catawiki beelmateriaal door deze 'slimmerik'.

Foto 2 en 3 van 942997 hadden dan namelijk gewoon helemaal nooit in Catawiki moeten\mogen worden opgenomen!

Kijkend naar de naald van de speld, lijkt mij dat het bij plaatje 1, om een andere speld gaat dan bij plaatje 2 en 3.
Komt het prijsverschil ook niet gewoon daardoor ?
Looking at the needle of the pin, it seems to me that picture 1 is a different pin than picture 2 and 3.

@pegag: strikt genomen niet (afb. 1 ook niet), maar ik zie het probleem niet zo. Er zijn wel meer afbeeldingen van dure items die niet door CW-gebruikers zelf zijn gefotografeerd.
@Arwin: Op de eerste foto ontbreekt het afsluitdopje van de speld en het is een minder fraai exemplaar. Het valt me wel pas nu op dat de eBay-veiling voortijdig beëindigd werd door de verkoper, dus waarschijnlijk werd de speld onderhands verkocht.
@pegag: Not strictly speaking (fig. 1 neither), but I don't see the problem that way. There are more images of expensive items that were not photographed by CW users themselves.
@Arwin: In the first photo, the cap of the pin is missing and it is a less beautiful one. It only now strikes me that the eBay auction was prematurely ended by the seller, so the pin was probably sold privately.
