Have just processed a modification of Bruintje Beer seventh series from 1934. The placed cover was clearly from the series from around 1970 (see the telephone number of Algemeen Handelsblad). The same cover was used as the second series in 1931. The stories that were mentioned with the item were also the stories that belonged to that second series. I have mentioned the correct stories and removed the image of the seventh srie from 1934.

Indeed rene, in the 1930s Het Algemeen Handelsblad had a telephone number with five digits and in the 1960s / 1970s with six numbers. That was also the only thing from which I could conclude with certainty that the item concerned had been entered incorrectly. I just hope that the copy has not been sold to the current owner as a particle from the first series :-)
