Hello everyone,

I'm looking for the modeling department (airplanes, cars, etc.) but can't find anything, ... am I doing something wrong or is it not yet available?

Here are a few relating to cars.

And in this section you can apparently lose other stuff, but it looks like it is not really possible to indicate that it concerns construction sets.
Maybe add it to the theme, or else ask if they want to create kind?

I have indicated that a modeling auction might also be interesting. Also passed on Lego and I saw it in the auction list.

Ik had zelf ook dat probleem, 5015225 hoorde in geen enkele bestaande categorie echt thuis, dus heb ik hem bij modelauto's / Revell gezet, ook al weet ik echt wel dat het geen auto is :-) Maar bij beeldjes en figuren zou ik hem ook niet direct zoeken!

I had that problem myself, 5015225 didn't really belong in any existing category, so I put it under model cars / Revell, even though I really know it's not a car :-) But I would also use it with figurines and figures don't search right away!

@ Tacozip : You can place models / kits in the Toys section as construction kits. The direct link can be found here . I also find it confusing, because some kits have their own section, such as model cars.

There is not yet a separate section for Model Building.

There have been questions about this before. Ted had certain ideas about that, but I don't know about it now. There is indeed a need for a section 'Model building'

One problem is that something could belong in several sections and now it can only be done in one section.

A tank is a vehicle, so some place it with Model cars, there are tanks that belong to Toys (often cheap plastic to very nice tin copies)

Build kits from bv Tamiya clearly belong to the category "Toy Soldiers" a radio controlled tank of scale 1:16 or larger is very clearly "Model building". The same story also applies to boats and airplanes.

There is a plan to make it possible to place an item in multiple categories without double posting. Because each section has been created separately, each with its own requirements and entry fields, it naturally presents numerous problems to ensure that it runs smoothly.

If you are looking for the tank at. can enter it as a new item in the catalog, while someone else has already entered it elsewhere. (this problem also exists between other categories such as Comics and Books). Ted has been working on it, but I think he has drowned in the problems and the differences of opinion of the different administrators.
