F – L’état de Jind était un état princier situé dans la région du Pendjab et de l’Haryana, au nord-ouest de l’Inde. Jind a été fondée et dirigée par les dirigeants sikhs du clan Sidhu. En 1885, une convention postale a été signée avec la poste indienne britannique. Par conséquent, les timbres de l’Inde britannique sont devenus alors utilisés et étaient surchargés avec le nom d’État Jhind ou Jind : avant le roi George V, les timbres postaux étaient composés de timbres indiens surchargés comme "Jhind State", avec la lettre 'H' dans le nom. Sur les timbres de George V, le 'H' est omis et surchargé comme "Jind State". Après la division du Pendjab en 1966, les anciens territoires de l’État de Jind ont été cédés à l’État nouvellement formé de l’Haryana. Ainsi, la ville et le district de Jind font maintenant partie de l’état indien d’Haryana.
E - Jind State was a princely state located in the Punjab and Haryana region of north-western India. Jind was founded and ruled by Jat Sikh rulers of Sidhu clan. In 1885, a postal convention was signed with the British Indian Post. Consequently, from then stamps of British India came in use, which were overprinted with the state name Jhind or Jind: postage stamps prior to King George V consisted of Indian stamps overprinted as "Jhind State", with the letter 'H' in the name. On the George V stamps, the 'H' is omitted and is overprinted as "Jind State". After the division of Punjab in 1966, the former territories of Jind State were given to the then newly formed state of Haryana. Thus, Jind town and district now form a part of Indian state of Haryana.
