F - Le Laos est un pays sans accès à la mer d'Asie du Sud-est, entouré par la Birmanie (ou Myanmar) et la Chine (Yunnan) au nord-ouest, la Thaïlande à l'ouest, le Cambodge au sud et le Viêt Nam à l'est. La capitale est Vientiane qui est aussi la ville la plus peuplée du pays. Le pays s’est trouvé d’abord sous protectorat français au début du 20ième siècle, pour être ensuite intégré à l'Union indochinoise française. En 1904 commence le long règne de Sisavang Vong, qui dure jusqu'en 1959 et couvre les deux guerres mondiales, l'établissement du royaume du Laos en tant qu'État unifié, la guerre d'Indochine, l'indépendance définitive du pays.
E - Laos is a country without access to the Southeast Asian sea, surrounded by Burma (or Myanmar) and China (Yunnan) in the northwest, Thailand in the west, Cambodia in the south and Vietnam in the east. The capital is Vientiane which is also the most populous city in the country. The country was first under French protectorate at the beginning of the 20th century, to be later integrated into the French Indochinese Union. In 1904 begins the long reign of Sisavang Vong, which lasts until 1959 and covers the two world wars, the establishment of the kingdom of Laos as a unified state, the war of Indochina, the final independence of the country.
