F - Dans la seconde moitié du XIXe siècle, des explorateurs et missionnaires occidentaux arrivèrent en Ouganda. Lors de la conférence coloniale de Berlin en 1885, l’Ouganda est attribué à la Grande-Bretagne en tant que protectorat britannique, mais l’administration proprement dite appartient dans les premières années à la British East Africa Company, y compris le service postal le 1er avril 1902. La région a ensuite été ajoutée au Kenya et plus tard le nom a été changé en Kenya, Ouganda et Tanganyika. En 1962, l’Ouganda est devenu indépendant et a de nouveau émis des timbres-poste.
E – In the second half of the 19th century, Western explorers and missionaries arrived in Uganda. At the Berlin colonial conference in 1885, Uganda was assigned to Great Britain as a British protectorate, but the administration itself belonged in the early years to the British East Africa Company, including the postal service the 1st of April 1902. The region was later added to Kenya and later changed its name to Kenya, Uganda and Tanganyika. In 1962, Uganda became independent and again issued stamps.
