Dear Collectors,

I recently added a bottle of rum, Isla del Tresoro, to my collection.

Is there anyone who might be able to tell me a bit more about this rum?

Can find very little about it on the internet.

Also in terms of value I am in the dark.

Thank you in advance,

Chris

Goodbye Chris,

if I google on isla del tresoro in combination with rum, I get a lot of hits.

Based on this, you should succeed too.

@autominologist

When I google on isla del tresoro in combination with rum, I get a lot of hits.

Based on this, you should also succeed

I could have thought of that myself .....

If you read some of those hits, you see that hardly anyone really knows the rum or only read about it in books or the like .

Nowhere a taste profile, if and if so where it can be bought and at what price.

Maybe it is in the Spanish-language sites, but unfortunately my Spanish is not sufficient to make sense of it.

Opening it is a bit of a shame if it will soon be a very expensive rum, I can't find myself on ebay btw, this bottle comes from the same collection as 2 Havanna Club Exquisit that I had. One of them was opened but the other brought in € 275 on ebay, and if I had waited a little longer, I would have gotten more for it.

@Chris:

Apparently I can search better than you. Price, taste and the fact that the brand is now owned by Bacardi can be found in a few minutes.

For those who do not speak Spanish there is google translate. Curved sentences but certainly legible.

Everyone wants to know the value of their collection, right?

No, not everyone.

Sometimes the forum is used/misused for free appraisal.

From your statements:

I think opening it is a bit of a shame when it comes to a very expensive rum

raised € 275 on ebay. And if I had waited a little longer, I would have gotten more for it.

I think it's more about sales value than collecting value.

But I could be completely wrong about that, for which I sincerely apologise.

Collective value and resale value are more or less the same in my opinion. Rare, unique objects have become worth more than their original market price. My collection (which I have not fully listed here) includes more than 80 bottles of rum, from the simple beard carta blanca to some very exclusive old rums. This in addition to other sprites I collect. This bottle in question seems to be very rare and is surrounded by a lot of stories that make me almost mythical. I had hoped to find an expert here who would could make. Well .... As the host Is. .

As Is Worth. .

Haha, so now you're going to blame others for wanting free expert advice to sell something for as much money as possible?

I don't think I'm the one blaming. .. Doesn't matter either .... Apparently I'm not getting any further here, this has become a pointless discussion.

And to prevent it from going endlessly, a lock on it. If someone has something meaningful to say about the topic, you can do so in a new topic
