if you enter an item in your shop and you enter a value at the sale price of which the first digit has already been used several times, it will be shown which values have been entered there before. to implement. You first have to click elsewhere on the page to get rid of the box, this is quite annoying

I'm trying to reproduce this, but I'm not getting multiple values when entering the sale price. Are these values from other sellers of that item or are these values that you yourself had used with other items?

Morits & Tammo

I think you have that in other fields as well.
In the gallery, at the filter year (from - to).
When you start typing, for example for the year 1978, a proposal list with the possibilities that you as a user have ever typed will automatically appear in that box. The list gets smaller as you type.
For example, '1978' contains all inputs that start with 1978. Also those options that you once mistyped yourself (fat fingers, you know). Apparently I already had thick fingers when I searched for the year From 1978: the proposal list also covers a command button ('Apply'), and another entry field (year To)

I've been wondering how I can remove my wrong input from that suggested value list because it's interfering.

Short: how can you forget (initialize) the ever typed values for an input field on LD.

autocomplete = "off" in the form (for the programmers) would delete everything for everyone and disable the benefit of the suggestion list. That may not be an option.

Another disadvantageous consequence of this autocomplete is eg in the field 'serial number in the series'. When I type in a number, a 'list' usually appears with bank account numbers ... The name of a used field determines the associated proposal list (due to autocomplete). If that name is also used on other sites for an input field ...

screenprint does not work, go to a new item, select, click on 'in shop', put cursor in sale price et voila, the box opens and you see your last entered prices, the box then covers 'offer item for sale' .

Found a trick to remove lines from a suggested list of a field :
hoover (put the mouse pointer over it) to the line from such a list that you want to get rid of, and then press shift + delete .
Works in any case on Google Chrome.

Actually for fields like sequence number in the range and price the input should not be kept in a selection list . Seems pointless to me, and usually annoying (annoying).
For other input fields (such as names and titles) it can save time.
If you can remove your own incorrect input on top of that, then it's great: )

Morits,
Perhaps it is a different problem for you (since screen shot does not work) but I cannot immediately find the screen you are referring to. I don't have enough experience yet to get half a word ... Do you mean by 'new item' the button 'add item to catalog'? made a backprint of it. So it must be something else ...

But, with the list I thought of, the shift + delete trick works just as well

in your shop means for sale, not catalog, you've already shown it, so ...

Aha, I can take a screenshot of it and you can't (with Google Chrome). Which browser / device do you use?
And does the 'trick' work for you?
Shift + delete trick does not work or Firefox, but it does on Edge and Chrome for me.

@Morits and Raoul62
In Firefox and Edge (latest versions) I cannot reproduce this. I do not have an autocomplete on numeric fields, so not by value or year.

Are there more people who experience the same as Morits and Raoul62?
Please report this, including OS and browser + version

Tammo,
I do have those lists on Firefox. I just can't clear them out there myself. On Google Chrome and Edge it is.
In itself it is not so bad for me now that I know how to 'clean up' that list for myself (I usually use Google Chrome). I would have found it irritating now and then, but for myself ... I have learned to live with irritants :) ... not yet checked how I can solve it.
To help someone else, that's something else. Then I'll make an attempt to unravel the mystery. Is therefore worth it if several take advantage of it.

For Morits: clicking somewhere else can also be replaced by using the Tab key. Then that list disappears and you get to the next entry box.

What really should be adjusted is at 'Sequence number in series', when adding / adjusting an item.
I do NOT want the list there purge with shift + delete. After all, then I have to type in my account number (s) with expiry date in another program, on a different site. To then purge that 'serial number' list back on LD.
The danger now is that there may be a bank account number somewhere in 'serial number in the series' next to a stamp on LD. Please only use this to deposit something :) Thanks in advance!
So it is also possible that someone has already seen that somewhere and put it right. But my account number will remain immortalized somewhere in the history of some item.
Below is an image of the atmosphere. I have crossed out my personal details with a thick line (account numbers and expiration dates).

My browsers are always up to date. Changes version number almost daily (also annoying).
Google Chrome: One hour ago: Version 89.0.4389.82 (Official build) (64-bit)
now: Version 89.0.4389.90 (Official build) ( 64-bit)
Firefox:
86.0.1 (64-bit)

Edge: One hour ago: Version 89.0.774.50 (Official build) (64-bit )
now: Version 89.0.774.54 (Official build) (64-bit)

@ Raoul62 en Morits
Additional question: Has this been working for you recently or as long as the new screens are available?

Since time immemorial ... certainly for 4 months :)
I'm really not sure what it was like during my first weeks here at the end of last year. I think so when adding a new item. When selling really no idea.

For serial number in the series I think it is best to choose the name of the input field differently (not the name of the field in the database, only the 'temporary' field name on the web page that becomes available to a user to complete / correct).

I also think that you as a user can turn off 'autofill' yourself somewhere in your brewer via the options. But I'm not going to do that. I benefit more than it harms.

At least since the new screens, because that's where you have the current situation
