Bied-Mogelijkheid in Shop toevoegen A.U.B..
Please add Bid Option in Shop ..
Now the sellers determine the price, by adding the possibility of bids in a shop, it is for the buyer / bidder to determine his own price.
They also get, then, a somewhat more realistic chance of buying and selling, at normal bid and ask prices, instead of those at bolted catalog prices.
catawiki is geen marktplaats
aub zo houden
Catawiki is not a marketplace
Please keep it that way
Catawiki nummer: 24560
De postkoets
Lucky Luke
1969
Softcover
Eerste druk
Cataloguswaarde
Nieuwstaat: € 50,00
Goede staat: € 25,00
Redelijke staat: € 12,50
Die wordt zo aangeboden:
Verkoopprijs: € 3,50
Conditie: Goede staat
Notities: herdruk sc
Aantal: 1
So this is a response from a seller who wants to keep it that way.
Catawiki should certainly not become a Marketplace. But it doesn't seem like anything when the prices are set now.
Take an article in your shop now pureveensboekenshop.nl
Catawiki number: 24560
The stagecoach
Lucky Luke
1969
Softcover
First edition
Catalog value
Mint condition: € 50.00
Good condition: € 25.00
Fair condition: € 12.50
It is presented like this:
Selling price: € 3.50
Condition: Good condition
Notes: reprint sc
Quantity: 1
Doing a reprint for sale what should have been a first edition, for € 3.50 and still in good condition, ridiculous.
This way you can also set a sales price that is only 14% of the catalog value.
Then the possibility of bidding on an article is the fairest.
And hope that this will also be introduced here.
What pureveens book shop offers is a completely different comic from the first edition from 1969
If it is a reprint it is probably from a different year and must therefore be elsewhere
If you only read the info that comes with the comic and not the note of pureveens book shop then you will feel cheated if you have ordered it and you will receive a reprint and not a first edition like the one on Catawiki number 24560 should be
comics that you offer must be offered in the right place of course

I think we should leave the bidding on items to Marktplaats and E-bay.
The notes field at a seller's shop is by no means intended to tell you that the item being sold is not the same as the item in the catalog.

..
..
Don't, please. It shouldn't be mp.nl idd. What Puurveen does is certainly not good, but it happens with more items than you think.
ALWAYS GOOD WATCH AND THINKING BEFORE YOU SOMETHING BUY .
Compare if you don't think the price is reasonable.

Nieuwstaat = 10/10
Goede staat = 9,5/10
Regarding those inflated catalog prices.
There are indeed exaggerations here and there (both positive and negative), but I think the problem is more with the definition of the "Conditions".
As it is now:
Mint condition = 10/10
Good condition = 9.5 / 10
Now those are albums that are almost impossible to find before the 50s / 60s and when they pop up they do indeed fetch those high prices.
Most of the albums you see have some shortcoming (name, crease, wear on the spine) and then automatically fall into the "Fair" category.
Now, "Fair" is the lowest category, so basically "Bad" and nobody likes to offer "bad" albums for sale.
Therefore, please also include categories that correspond to
8/10 = Good
6/10 = Fair
& lt; 5 = Bad
Furthermore, I would not make Catawiki an auction, you already have enough.

If there was a button next to an offer “this doesn't belong here”, such cases would be reported quickly and sellers are obliged to put it in the right place.
And indeed, there is a problem with the conditions. Not the appointment of it but the interpretation of most sellers.
"Still very good for its age" is usually just a bad condition with many more flaws than it reasonably shows. But that option does not exist and if it exists, then no one will put their albums under it. There are even descriptions of "Good condition" in shops that start with the explanation: "Adhesive tape on the inside ..."

Ah yes, and let that offer for other places.
verder marktplaats.nl
dat is de site voor onderbieden
for mistakes there are administrators
Furthermore, you can always make a price suggestion
if it is processed correctly it will be processed once and
a catalog price
continue marktplaats.nl
that's the undercut site

For the kind of “mistakes” this is about, so not.
Exactly. Sellers are responsible for submitting to the correct item in the catalog. Out of necessity, we will soon come up with a “regulation” for sellers that will allow us to communicate more clearly how sellers should offer. Offering a reprint during a first print is not only annoying for buyers who initially think they will find a good purchase, but also becomes a problem when we automatically deduce the list prices from the sales prices (we will really start with this soon). Offering in the wrong condition is indeed misleading. Scam has a good point about the conditions with comics: we still have to add “Near mint condition” there. And in all sections we want to add the condition “Bad condition” (we will not include it in the list of catalog prices, but you can choose it in your collection and your shop).
About bidding: I get a lot of responses via email from both buyers and sellers that people find it a relief that they can buy something immediately (without having to go into a long bidding process) or immediately sell something to a clear buyer. Yet there is also the desire to be able to start an auction for very rare things whose value is unclear or for large lots. Maybe we will do something with that.
Stay tuned for bids, there are plenty of other sites
idd and if someone wants to place a lower bid, they can always send me an email.
Just an example, someone emails me about buying 175 comics and comics for x amount, I agreed, even though I could certainly get double for it.

Bied-Mogelijkheid in Shop toevoegen A.U.B..

Please add Bid Option in Shop ..
Now that Catawiki needs money to continue to exist and grow, I would like to ask again for an expansion of the Shop.
In the future, it is expected that a larger audience will come to Catawiki who will not only pay the fixed prices of sellers, but decide for themselves what they want to give for it.
Now there are all kinds of unknown searchers who don't respond at all to shop offers.
Catawiki needs to grow up in that regard, do it now before the general public comes to have a look and then quickly drops out again.
See here under my previously posted message.

Please. do not create a bidding site from Catawiki.
Most of the reasons have already been mentioned, but one more reason is that pro shops are bound by the minimum book price. By law they are not allowed to give a discount on new books.
If I want to sell second-hand comic books at a lower price, then I simply ask for a lower price or put it on Marktplaats or something like that.
For most items, a collector already has plenty of choice from providers with different conditions / prices. The catalog value will be calculated in the future on the basis of actual sales through Catawiki. Although this is still an extremely difficult process because the items usually have a different quality level (also in Good Condition, for example).
@ allen..
@ allen .. A bidding option is actually the next step to make Catawiki THE fully-fledged "market maker". In this way, supply and demand will converge. And this average is therefore a reliable (catalog) price or value.
The comparison with marketplace is not valid because at Catawiki you could start bidding on items that are NOT offered. This demand will create supply. In short, profit for all parties.
Please no bid on Catawiki. Then it becomes just as messy as on Marktplaats. Undercutting is rampant there. Mostly traders who want to sit in the ringside for a dime.
Above all, let Catawiki remain a place for collectors
And of course it is nonsense to say that you could start bidding on items that are not offered. It is not for nothing that a user keeps items out of his shop.

Let the bidding begin
Not really intended for this site
And entered incorrectly, by putting all items on 1 photo
Don't bid and just look out your bottle when you put something in your shop. It couldn't be simpler.

She even introduced those chocolate molds in triplicate. Who does what if there is no manager for the Kitchenware collection area?

Is inmiddels gedaan.
As soon as we are pointed to it (here for example), some administrators not specifically appointed to that section can simply disapprove it. Has now been done.
