Lyonesse I took the matrix numbers from the runout. (have noticed that not every label has such a thing, so go for 'original' on pressing/etching.

I have reproduced the times from audio clips (after a long search), since they cannot be found anywhere else, in this way. (ok there may be a deviation in the 10/seconds, but no other sources, and a timer goes a bit far for me, as that is also subject to responsiveness.

I have not been able to find out whether 'die Thomalos' is also Niessen's tanz orchestra.

First of all, Die Thomalos are not the same as the Tanzorchester, this looks so good.
As far as the Matrix numbers are concerned, I first only enter the visible numbers, so as it is now indicated at the Item.
As far as the times are concerned, in my opinion they do not fill in anything if it is not stated somewhere on the cover, or on the label itself, with LPs this is a bit different in my opinion, which may be stated inside, for example, a gatefold cover, but this does not play a role with this item.
There is another strong point not to fill them in if they are not listed because there are often records (So different Items) with the same song with different times.
But here maybe FransS can give a little more clarity.

Lyonesse ok, will remember. learned something again.

Matrix is still quite new (June, not yet in manual), so actually requires a uniform 'policy' in my view (which takes precedence). OR if all then 4 x (ala discogs) I mean ?

Matrix numbers are indeed not yet in the manual. I'm still working on that, but there is info about filling it in at the field itself. If you click on the (empty) field you will get information about entering it on the right. There it is explicitly stated that you must enter the matrix number that is in the lead-out groove. Not that of the label. The number on the label is only a portion of the actual matrix number.

Only enter times of tracks if they are stated on the label, on the cover or in an appendix. The same tracks sometimes want to have variations in time. Other mix or live performance,; difference between the single version and the album version. There are quite a few reasons why there are differences. Leike's way is quite clever in itself, but it only works for CDs and not for vinyl. If it is not specified anywhere, it is best to leave the time field empty.

Oh dear.. well I'm getting on my ass, but I just had a 'wait a moment ;-) ; regarding search function..
Matrix number (also new today in manual I saw!), so catalog just busy with that data. (or start-up phase).
So : 1) tested on what occurred to me (probably something known to others) : matrix number: is that a searchable data ? (database) : YES.
2) what goes with it: >Ok , line is now number from lead groove. Fine.
With x existing copies (were already entered earlier) run-out groove number + label number .
The search function shows that I can enter both numbers (with result).

Since (yes, sorry for eg laziness/ignorance of .... >) it could happen that someone quickly searches by label 'matrix' number. (so according to the rule we do not (anymore) introduce this), and I understand the comments/recommendations/advice here and there, and can also agree with that, but I still had the following (as a combination):
Proposal ( with effect from, for example, July next (this also in order not to saddle the reviewers with (historical) work)) to voluntarily add the label matrix number as an extra in the field. As a result, the search function and findability are also increased by 100%.

Can you give an example of an Item what exactly you mean by Label / Matrix number.
Is it eg this Item #9826659 that I have changed where the Matrix number is visible on the Label and maybe behind it the Matrix number of the run-out groove?

Lyonesse isn't an attack on the change, don't bother. But you can use it as a (partial) example. Is it the one who indirectly made me think about the proposal (after discussion):
In short: according to the rule we now have to fill in the run-out groove number. (if then.=valid). Previously you indicated: but that is also stated on the label! Always done this way (fine).
Will this be indicated in another field from now on no (extension) , SIN. so that number (label) disappears and is not mentioned again. therefore proposal: add voluntary label matrixnr, so that the search engine can search on both numbers. (Not according to new rule, but....)
Underlying thought process (sight of newcomer, unfamiliar with site): the label is damaged..but there is still a number on it..can I use that? does he know about runout data?? so an optional + search condition remains in the system.

Because I work with software myself, I also have to take a look at things as an amateur / novice (and I sometimes forget that too). No reproach! So if I see room for improvement???
(yes/no remains the final result).

eg: search on
release no. : 35 587 A he finds
matrixnr (label) : 45-35 587 x he finds (that will be the option number)
matrix runout groove : Runout Side A: 35587 X-1 is not found, not included in dbase due to change (expected result).
If it was in the matrix field, it will do so.
Hope I was able to clarify my thinking.

I'm doing a bit of testing right now.
Have the Item #9826659 with the Matrix numbers a bit adjusted, can also be different from me so first the run-out groove and then what is on the Label.
What do you and e.g. FransS or the other administrators think of this?
Have another nice example see item #9829355
The Matrix numbers of the run-out groove are already filled in here and the Label also shows the Matrix number 3F7ZW-0115 for the A side and the Matrix number 3F7ZW-0116 for the B side.
Have a personal comment about the word Runout, in Dutch this is Uitloopgroove, in German Auslaufrille and in French I don't know.
Shouldn't this also be translated into the four languages or can it not be omitted completely, so also the word Runout, actually it is clear that the first line is the A side and the second line is the B side and so on with e.g. Double LP

Exactly Lyonesse # 9826659 you can now (on 3 different numbers) bring up the item. (rel + 2 matrix no.)
About the correct spelling.. I leave that to the administrators.
And in French (la) rainure de sortie ( de vinyl ) rainure is groove, but because this term is also widely used in other things, people often add (it seems) the vinyl ( e) as an additive.

edit : word runout etc can also go away for me, determine numbers. the logic is often also included.. a or b or 1 and 2 etc (end of number)
