Hello
I am looking for a copy (good jpg) of the inserts that belong to this album.
I have the album, albeit in very bad condition, but I would like to know what is on those sheets. (text and a map)
lastdodo 27310
The photo accompanying the catalog is just too bad to read properly.
I hope someone can help me with this.

Well, yes, but these inserts are not to be found.
Extremely rare, but not worth ...

Thanks for your thoughts

Boekenmagazijn

Not a good time to do that. I have never read many parts, at most I have browsed a bit. I know the old Vandersteens well. Googled and now also know who Piet Pel is . So a bookseller. Unfortunately I couldn't find any clear pages on the internet. But who distributed those albums with the pages? Piet Pel bookstore ??

Unfortunately we can no longer ask Arco. Indeed, it seems to me to be a private addition rather than an appendix from publishing house Standaard. (And in that case it doesn't belong on the album, but should be a separate item.)

Boekenmagazijn #27310 ; attached text allegedly : there are attachments.

Don't know, searched around a bit.. Could it be that there is a copy of the letter (= attachment) that Piet Pel wrote to P Geerts: copy part text source :hebtlef

Piet made sure that Het Witte Wief was written. He researched the history of Ede and discovered a Bronze Age burial mound on Kernhem. As a Suske en Wiske fan, he wrote to Paul Geerts, the cartoonist of the series, about the 'white woman' (nickname of the grieving damsel who, according to legend, has been waiting for her knight for centuries). The writer came to visit and a year later Suske en Wiske episode 227 appeared.

Piet Pel, was a bookseller in Ede. Actually contributed to this album.
He is said to have many Suske en Wiske - Het Witte Wief, signed on page 2 and also sold.
I have one such album. In very bad condition indeed.
He added two inserts.
On one is a story about Het Witte Wief in Kernhem, and how Piet sees it, and on the other is a kind of map.
I am very curious about the map. I think I can read the story.

First printing in 1991.
Distributed in 1993 with 3 loose pages by Piet Pel (source: Bonte).
However, that still doesn't say which album (first edition or not) these pages are in. But if you have a signed album Suskewiske we are already one step closer.

Suskewiske To be absolutely sure, look at the back (see #27310 ), the first edition has 227 as the last title, and signed in February 1991 makes sense. But then there would be no attachment.

It is also the first printing. 227 is also the last title.
The appendix was made by Piet Pel.
I'm trying to read the text sheet and convert it into readable text. I'll also post it here when I'm done.
I don't know what the second sheet looks like. I have an idea but not sure.

Are there others who can confirm this, because then the information from 1993 is again incorrect.

The White Woman
Ede, 1 February 1991

Kernhem has been haunted for as long as one can remember. A transparent one
figure, "The White Woman", dwelled there in the dark and chased the
people fear. That is why people avoided this place at night. Also because in the
past Udo den Booze, the first lord of the castle of Kernhem, on his large
mounted on horseback and always accompanied by his two black ravening
dogs, drove through the Edese forest. And you never know!

“Het Witte Wief”, which is still seen every now and then, is a mythical one
figure from Ede's dark past. Guided by my intuition and
taking advantage of chance, I have been walking and studying
legends, place names, landmarks, old maps, etc. to this past
researched for many years.

Estate Kernhem with its long Doolhoflaan, which used to be called Bloedlaan,
united me with its curious structures, the Hanepol and the Viskom
sun temple or sun theater from the Bronze Age. This is a
observation place where one can follow the course of the sun via fixed points.
Here you can calculate the Seasons. "Het Witte Wief" would be a
have had an important function. If my theory was right, then it had to be
the Maze, which is the great mound where the bloodstone lies, from the same
time tribes. Everyone denied this, but it still had to be checked
are! I told my story to journalist Jo Koops from Eden, who op
in turn consulted the well-known archaeologist Eduard Zuurdeeg. This one did
both our presence in 1973 are archaeological research and the
result of this confirmed my suspicions.

My second assumption: Ede used to be a place of pilgrimage!
There are several places in the Veluwe where the number three occurs
without having a function in it, for example Drieberg. In one of hers
books Mellie Uyldert explains this by stating that a three mountain
was originally a turning mountain, where people practiced the sun religion
spirals around it. I reconstructed an old procession in Ede (see map)
on the basis of old still existing roads and a Drieberg, Triangle,
Crossroads and a Holy Mountain. This turn corresponds to it
constellation Orion. It was a crowning achievement for me when Mellie Uyldert
Ede came to visit these places with me. In November 1986 she dedicated
in her magazine "de Kaarsflame"" a special article on the special places
in Eden, :

In Ede people tell of subterranean corridors where mysterious things
to happen. In Ede I noticed a powerful energy line that of Kernhem
to Paasberg. This in itself is nothing special. These are everywhere
on earth for. At the five intersections of this line, you can
compare to dormant volcanoes, energy can be released. This one is mainly
of a spiritual nature, but there are sometimes side effects, such as knocking noises
and ghosts. There are also countless examples of this in Ede.
