Hi René,

I wanted to take out my 'Topsellers' subscription tonight, and came across two things.

1. Stripe refuses service. Once I got to the site of my own bank after three attempts, but was immediately kicked out again. That's not how it works. But maybe just as well, because:

2. I assumed that I would enter into a contract for one year, but would pay per month. This is how it is suggested in the options on your subscription page. But on the checkout page I only find the annual amount that will be debited from my account in one go on January 1. At least, that's how it says:
"If you don't cancel the trial, you'll be charged $239.40 annually , starting January 1, 2023 .
By providing your payment details and confirming this payment, you authorize (A) LastDodo BV and Stripe, our payment service provider, and/or PPRO, Stripe's local service provider, to send an instruction to your bank to deduct the amount from your account and (B) authorize your bank to debit the amount from your account in accordance with the instruction ."
There is no mention of a monthly fee anywhere here.
It seems quite normal to me that you can simply pay for your subscription per month, such as your energy contract or health insurance, which you are also committed to for a longer period of time.

Is this worded crookedly/incompletely or have I misunderstood it from the start? I can't miss that 240 euros in one go, in addition to all the price increases that have been there in recent months and will come in the coming year.

When I pressed the trial period button, I did end up at my bank. I transferred that last penny. I assume that I will soon be able to pay per month, or get that discount of 48 euros for people who pay in one go :-)

You determine the height of your shop yourself , by the items that are for sale in it.

A while ago I gave a (I thought) useful tip not to leave that height unnecessarily high due to typos. If the decimal point doesn't get through, you get expensive items. A few unjustifiably expensive items are enough to quickly reach the 800-euro limit.
I think you can get the value of your shop down quite a bit by doing what is explained there.

Offering an item as ' non-profit ' for 65 euros ... that saves a few hundred stamps if you remove that typo.
#368201 at 50 euros, imho is also a typo.

Want to bet that you can get your shop value down by > 500 euros? With the additional advantage that a number of items may be sold ...
And, as a very important advantage for the other users (buyers) that you can still offer quite a lot in your shop.

This puts another hidden advantage of the new subscriptions in the spotlight: quality.
Quality of added items, quality of adjustments, and quality of offerings.
Everyone is convinced that those tips are not for them. There you have it.
