Na 1 januari en je hebt je verzameling nog steeds op privé staan, kun je zonder een betaald abonnement geen items meer toevoegen aan je verzameling.
De keuze is dan om je verzameling publiek te zetten of een betaald abonnement te nemen.

ok bedankt voor de reactie. Maar ik vind het wel een beetje raar. Of je neemt een abonnement of we vertellen iedereen op deze site wat jij in huis hebt. Mag dat zomaar?

Dit is niet raar, als gebruiker maak je zelf de keuze of je verzameling zichtbaar wordt of op privé blijft staan.

dunga13, zoals Collectioneur ook al aangeeft, gebeurt dat dus ook niet. Dat kan alleen als je je verzameling zelf bewust op publiek zet.

Rene , Hallo Rene, tot welke datum kan ik mijn gekozen abonnement nog annuleren, alvorens de betaling automatisch van mijn rekening wordt afgehaald? Mijn verkoop op LD ligt helemaal stil, terwijl ik op een andere site wel goede verkoop heb, met dezelfde items als op LD (verkoop tot nu in de maand december 37,30 eur). Dus is er momenteel grote twijfel over mijn komende abonnement. Ik denk dat er heel wat gegadigden elders hun heil zijn gaan zoeken.

My sales on LD have come to a complete standstill, while I have good sales on another site, with the same items as on LD (sale so far in December 37.30 eur). Bij mijn weten is er geen zoek functie voor het forum.

What will happen to the information already entered. Will this be removed?

This question has probably already been answered, but it's impossible to find it here.
As far as I know there is no search function for the forum.

En deze kun je ook nog gewoon bewerken. Je kunt alleen geen nieuwe persoonlijke velden meer toevoegen met een gratis abonnement.

Helemaal boven aan iedere forum pagina is trouwens een zoekveld waarmee je in het forum kunt zoeken.

Ik wilde vanavond mijn 'Topsellers'-abonnement afsluiten, en stuitte op twee zaken.

1. Stripe weigert dienst. Eén keer kwam ik na drie pogingen tot aan de site van mijn eigen bank, maar werd er daar meteen weer uitgeknikkerd. Zo schiet het niet op. Maar misschien maar goed ook, want:

2. Ik ging ervan uit dat ik een contract zou aangaan voor een jaar, maar per maand zou betalen. Zo wordt dat gesuggereerd in de keuzemogelijkheden op jullie abonnementenpagina. Maar op de checkoutpagina vind ik alleen het jaarbedrag dat in één keer op 1 januari van mijn rekening wordt afgeschreven. Althans, zo staat het er:
"Als je de proefversie niet annuleert, wordt jaarlijks € 239,40 in rekening gebracht, vanaf 1 januari 2023.

Als je je betaalgegevens opgeeft en deze betaling bevestigt, geef je (A) LastDodo B.V. en Stripe, onze betaaldienstverlener, en/of PPRO, de lokale dienstverlener van Stripe, toestemming om een opdracht naar je bank te verzenden om het bedrag van je rekening af te schrijven, en (B) geef je je bank toestemming om het bedrag van je rekening af te schrijven conform de opdracht."
Nergens wordt hier meer melding gemaakt van een maandelijks bedrag.
Het lijkt mij heel normaal dat je je abonnement gewoon per maand kunt betalen, zoals je energiecontract of zorgverzekering, waar je tenslotte ook voor langere tijd aan vastzit.

Is dit krukkig/onvolledig geformuleerd of heb ik het vanaf het begin verkeerd begrepen? Ik kan die 240 euro niet in één keer missen, naast alle prijsverhogingen die er de afgelopen maanden zijn geweest en het komende jaar gaan komen.
Ik hoor het antwoord graag :-)

I wanted to take out my 'Topsellers' subscription tonight, and came across two things.

1. Stripe refuses service. Once I got to the site of my own bank after three attempts, but was immediately kicked out again. That's not how it works. But maybe just as well, because:

2. I assumed that I would enter into a contract for one year, but would pay per month. This is how it is suggested in the options on your subscription page. But on the checkout page I only find the annual amount that will be debited from my account in one go on January 1. At least, that's how it says:
"If you don't cancel the trial, you'll be charged $239.40 annually , starting January 1, 2023 .

By providing your payment details and confirming this payment, you authorize (A) LastDodo BV and Stripe, our payment service provider, and/or PPRO, Stripe's local service provider, to send an instruction to your bank to deduct the amount from your account and (B) authorize your bank to debit the amount from your account in accordance with the instruction ."
There is no mention of a monthly fee anywhere here.
It seems quite normal to me that you can simply pay for your subscription per month, such as your energy contract or health insurance, which you are also committed to for a longer period of time.

Is this worded crookedly/incompletely or have I misunderstood it from the start? I can't miss that 240 euros in one go, in addition to all the price increases that have been there in recent months and will come in the coming year.
I'd love to hear the answer :-)

Ik heb het het zojuist nog eens geprobeerd. Wat blijkt: ik wilde direct een abonnement afsluiten, zonder proefperiode, maar ben er achtergekomen dat hem daar de kneep zit: dat kan blijkbaar niet. Toen ik de proefperiode-button indrukte kwam ik wél bij mijn bank terecht. Ik heb die ende cent overgemaakt. Ik ga er vanuit dat ik zometeen gewoon per maand kan betalen, of die korting van 48 euro krijg voor mensen die in één keer betalen :-)

I just tried again. As it turns out, I immediately wanted to take out a subscription, without a trial period, but I found out that's the problem: apparently that's not possible. When I pressed the trial period button, I did end up at my bank. I transferred that last penny. I assume that I will soon be able to pay per month, or get that discount of 48 euros for people who pay in one go :-)

Ik heb niet eerder gehoord dat iemand een probleem had met het betalen via Stripe. Vervelend dat dit jou trof.

Op de abonnementenpagina kun je kiezen tussen betalen per jaar of per maand:

Als je tussen deze twee opties switcht dan zie je het verschil in prijs.
Betalen per jaar is - afhankelijk van het abonnement - 20 tot 27% goedkoper dan betalen per maand.

De tijd tot 1 januari geldt als proefperiode. Zo noemt Stripe de tijd tot het betaalde abonnement echt in gaat.

Ik zie dat je er voor hebt gekozen om te betalen per jaar. Dan is het inderdaad goedkoper maar wordt het jaarbedrag dus wel in januari in 1 keer afgeschreven. Wil je dat toch niet laat mij dat dan weten. Dat kan ook via ons info mailadres of het contactformulier.

I've never heard of anyone having a problem paying through Stripe before. I'm sorry this happened to you.

On the subscription page you can choose between paying per year or per month:

If you switch between these two options, you will see the difference in price.
Paying per year is - depending on the subscription - 20 to 27% cheaper than paying per month.

The time until 1 January is a trial period. That's what Stripe calls the time until the paid subscription really starts.

I see that you have chosen to pay per year. Then it is indeed cheaper, but the annual amount is therefore debited in 1 time in January. If you don't want that, let me know. You can also do this via our info email address or the contact form.

Ik zie nu pas dat je moet kiezen voor betaling per jaar of per maand vóórdat je de grootte van je abonnement kiest, wat m.i. een heel onlogische volgorde is (omdat het per abonnement nogal een verschil uitmaakt qua bedrag) - ik had die subtiele melding bovenin niet gezien omdat ik direct naar het abonnement van mijn keuze ging. En dan is je keuze dus al gemaakt omdat het standaard op betalen per jaar staat ingesteld. Ik heb er dus niet zelf voor gekozen.
Misschien ben ik de enige die dit heeft ondervonden, dat kan. Colour me dumb.
Maar de keuze om per maand of per jaar te betalen bij de checkout lijkt mij de juiste volgorde.

I only now see that you have to choose payment per year or per month before you choose the size of your subscription, which I think is a very illogical order (because it makes quite a difference per subscription in terms of amount) - I had that subtle message at the top didn't see it because I went straight to the subscription of my choice. And then your choice has already been made because it is set to pay per year by default. So I didn't choose it myself.
Maybe I'm the only one who's experienced this. Color me dumb.
But the choice to pay per month or per year at checkout seems to me to be the right order.

NB Ik laat het nu maar even op jaarbetaling, we gaan wel zien of het bedrag straks in één keer kan worden afgeschreven :-)

Tja, wij vonden het logisch om in een oogopslag voor alle abonnementen te kunnen zien hoeveel het kosten bij switchen tussen jaar en maand betaling.

Als je jaar hebt gekozen dan wordt het dus in januari afgeschreven in 1x.

heb een abonnement  af gesloten,ik kwam tot de conclusie dat het last-dodo team bezig is in eigen voet te schieten, door dat ik geen items meer kan toevoegen omdat ik  800 euro boven het maximum zit,zodoende kan ik niet meer aan veilingen op catawiki meedingen omdat ik de altijd aanwezige 
doubletten niet meer kan invoeren in mijn shop, dit draait een zeer leuke hobby
de nek om. misschien een idee om de hoogte van de items wat aan te passen?

Een vraagje jmeijers , misschien een dom vraagje, maar waarom kun je nu niet meer meedoen aan de catawiki veilingen ?. Dit staat toch los van jouw shop ?.

De hoogte van je shop bepaal je zelf, door de items die er in te koop staan.

Een tijd terug gaf ik een (dacht ik toch) handige tip om die hoogte niet onnodig hoog te laten staan tgv typfoutjes.  Als het decimaalteken er niet door komt, dan krijg je dure items.  Enkele onterecht dure items zijn al voldoende om rap aan de 800-euro-grens te komen.
Ik denk dat je de waarde van je shop een stuk naar beneden kunt krijgen door te doen wat daar uitgelegd staat.

Een item als 'non profit' aan 65 euro aanbieden ... dat scheelt al een paar honderd zegeltjes als je die typfout er uit haalt.
#368201 aan 50 euro, is imho ook een typfoutje.

Wedden dat je je shopwaarde met > 500 euro naar beneden kunt krijgen?  Met als bijkomend voordeel dat een aantal items dan misschien wel verkocht geraken ...
En, als heel belangrijk voordeel voor de andere gebruikers (kopers) dat je wel nog best veel in je shop kunt aanbieden.

Hiermee komt nog een verdoken voordeel van de nieuwe abonnementen in de spotlights te staan: kwaliteit.
Kwaliteit van toegevoegde items, kwaliteit van aanpassingen, en kwaliteit van aanbod.
Iedereen is er van overtuigd dat die tips niet aan hen zijn besteed.  Zo zie je maar.

You determine the height of your shop yourself , by the items that are for sale in it.

A while ago I gave a (I thought) useful tip not to leave that height unnecessarily high due to typos. If the decimal point doesn't get through, you get expensive items. A few unjustifiably expensive items are enough to quickly reach the 800-euro limit.
I think you can get the value of your shop down quite a bit by doing what is explained there.

Offering an item as ' non-profit ' for 65 euros ... that saves a few hundred stamps if you remove that typo.
#368201 at 50 euros, imho is also a typo.

Want to bet that you can get your shop value down by > 500 euros? With the additional advantage that a number of items may be sold ...
And, as a very important advantage for the other users (buyers) that you can still offer quite a lot in your shop.

This puts another hidden advantage of the new subscriptions in the spotlight: quality.
Quality of added items, quality of adjustments, and quality of offerings.
Everyone is convinced that those tips are not for them. There you have it.
