Quite a few books have already been entered in the catalogue, the titles and authors, etc., have been given a Dutch translation. On the one hand because books from Russian have been translated into Dutch and are then easier to import with original titles, on the other hand because collectors have taken the trouble to find out such a thing. However, a book (in this case a children's book) without any guidance than to "translate" the print one by one on the internet, whereby the question is whether a sensible title or name of the author will emerge? It's not a world problem if I can't put it in the catalog, but given the many nationalities in our country, it's nice to be able to store a bit more in a catalog.

The writer's name is S. Marshak. His first name would be Samoeil.

[Edit: ] The author is in the Wikipedia.

Thanks again, then I can look further between the companies and perhaps a member who has imported several Russian books knows what I can still do. I do send a message to a few, not everyone checks the Forum.

The literal translation of the title is "Politeness Lesson". I would make this "Lessons in politeness" myself, but that's a matter of taste.

The bottom line of the front reads "My little library".
The top line of the back reads "Planet of Childhood".

The full name of the author (written on the back cover) is: Marshak, Samuil Yakovlevich

"A bear about five or six years old.
Learned to behave"

Fantastic and thank you! Then I can already enter the booklet. May I ask how you were able to translate something like that or is it knowledge of the Russian language?

In the gray past I learned some Russian. I have forgotten a lot about it, but I can still read the Russian script easily and therefore quickly enter it into Google Translate. Then think about whether the answer is correct. I also have a few thick dictionaries for emergencies.
