In any case, thanks for reading it. I'll ask the question differently. In everything I've already bought in a shop, events unfolded in a normal order. On the left side of the purchase screen there are two "bars" that I as a buyer can move. One "at the beginning" to say I made the payment and one "at the end" to say I received the order.
On the right there are 7 balls that show the status of my order. The third sphere and the sixth sphere light up when I have moved the mentioned bars. The other orbs are activated by the seller (except 7). What happened in one particular purchase? The seller had not yet responded to my sent payment (no 4th bulb). He hadn't sent anything yet either (no 5th sphere).
Isn't it strange and pointless that I get two messages at that moment:
- 1st message: You can now provide feedback (from what should I provide feedback? That I am waiting for my payment to be posted?)
- 2nd message: You can now add the albums to your collection (which albums? They have not been sent yet. I have no news after my payment.)
Hence my questions:
1) Has something changed in the ordering system? I have never experienced this.
2) is something wrong? Every database can have temporary defects, in certain functions.
3) did I miss something? Maybe there was an error message somewhere.

Is this important? Yes. A database has drivers and users. I think a driver should be happy if someone reports a problem. Sometimes a driver does not know that something is wrong "on the other side" or on a computer without administrative rights.

Has it been solved? I do not know. My seller may have done something wrong, because yesterday I received a friendly email to say that everything was shipped and today the postman was already there. Good news; it would have been even better if he updated the status every time. The question remains: how was it possible that I could already give feedback and put the albums in my collection?

PeterRMT I think you make it too complicated yourself, why are you so busy with those balls?
you order, and you receive an invoice, and you pay, and you receive the order, and then only when the order is good do you deal with the feedback.
NOW: the seller receives the order by e-mail, the seller checks whether you have paid. the seller sends the order (that's the only time the seller clicks on sent. and then you only give the 1st click to give the feedback.
there is no question of a bubble for either the buyer or the seller.
Bubbles bring confusion.
I can also see if someone has clicked on a bubble that payment has been sent. but that means nothing to me, I can see on my account whether someone has paid.

If the seller does not update the status after an order, we will still send a feedback request after some time. Because of two reasons:

1. The seller may forget to update the status and otherwise you as a buyer would not be able to leave feedback or move the items to your collection. It seems that was the case in your situation as well.

2. If a seller is acting in bad faith, the buyers of such seller would otherwise never be able to provide feedback, thus not warning future buyers.

Yes thank you. That is a valid method. It's also in the FAQs, I saw now. It was especially shocking because my payment was not registered AND there was nothing on Sent AND I had not received a message from any carrier AND it concerned an immensely large POWER PRO shop.
We have become a bit wiser and especially happy with the goodies delivered. Thank you seller and LastDodo.
