Music/prefixes band16 messages

hallo collega verzamelaars,

vaak zie ik dat van sommige bands onder verschillende namen items worden ingevoerd, dit terwijl het toch dezelfde band is.

dit is verwarrend en er is zo geen overzicht.

een voorbeeldje:

• Dutch Swing College Band
• Dutch Swing College Band, The

dit zal voor meerdere items gelden, ik heb dit niet nagekeken.

is er een mogelijkheid dat een van de beheerders dit soort fouten eruit kan halen en zo de items van de "verschillende bandnamen" kan samenvoegen, zodat er een duidelijk overzicht komt?

hier kan je dan melding maken als je zoiets aantreft.

I often see items from some bands being entered under different names, even though they are the same band.

this is confusing and there is no overview.

an example:

• Dutch Swing College Band
• Dutch Swing College Band, The

this will apply to multiple items, I have not checked this.

is there a possibility that one of the administrators can remove this kind of error and merge the items of the "different band names" so that there is a clear overview?

that is already done and is called merge. But this does not alter the fact that you can continue to report this here. I have to tell you that it is a bear job, because there is a lot of wrong performance, in every area, both with books, music and you name it. You wonder if it will ever all work out, but just keep going, there is nothing else to do ...

I put them together (and a lot of others that I came across) and yes, it's a bear job ..... Fighting the beer quay.

Merge is an option as far as I know from super admins and besides Jilles, you are the only one in this section who has this option
