En 1948, le nom de la NJV a été changé pour Christian Young Men Association (CJMV). Un autre changement de nom a suivi en 1958, après avoir fusionné avec la Girls Association CJVF. Ensuite, la Christian Youth Association (CJV) a été fondée. En 1979, le nom a changé pour CJV-YMCA Nederland. Enfin, le nom YMCA Nederland a été choisi en 1995.

In 1948 werd de naam van het NJV gewijzigd in Christelijk Jonge Mannen Verbond (CJMV). In 1958 volgde wederom een naamswijziging, na fusie met het Meisjesverbond CJVF. Toen ontstond het Christelijk Jongeren Verbond (CJV). In 1979 veranderde de naam in CJV-YMCA Nederland. Tenslotte werd in 1995 voor de naam YMCA Nederland gekozen.
