De fotograaf is Mathew Brady en de president is Lincoln. Omdat Brady gewond raakte heeft Blutch de rol van fotograaf een tijdje waargenomen.

fazerco Ja, echter op de site "wat gaan we doen" werd het wel duidelijk vermeld, terwijl ik voor de gesloten deur stond, kwamen er meer teleurgestelde mensen aan... het zij  zo

DELGADITO ik was er al bang voor omdat op de agenda van de site niks stond op vandaag. Maar ze hadden dat beter even kunnen melden op de site. Ik was bijna heengegaan ook omdat het 'vlakbij' was.

Ik had mij op dit wellicht kleine laatste stripbeursje verheugd, lekker dichtbij en voor de eerste keer een stripbeurs in Heiloo, maar dit was wel heel erg klein.....de deuren waren gesloten en niets of niemand in het pand aanwezig.....bizar

I had been looking forward to this perhaps small last comic fair, nice and close and for the first time a comic fair in Heiloo, but this was very small... the doors were closed and nothing and no one was present in the building... bizarre

Jummeke buizer en anderen : vanwege de wens het LD cafe weer wat te activeren heb ik deze simpele quiz bedacht, louter voor de lol. En de reacties zijn leuk en inmiddels ook wat wetenswaardigheden, Jommeke , Bommel en Tom Poes. In ieder geval info wat nieuw voor mij was. En die vragen, vind het al lastig om die te "verzinnen" en ja stripboeken is mijn ding dus aan andere rubrieken waag ik me niet. Anyhow 1 maart sluit ik het af, was leuk om te doen. Dank voor alle reacties. 

Oh ja schaatsen als aanvulling op mijn eerder post: Lian de Chinees en Joep de Hollander hebben elkaar gesproken en de strijdbijl begraven. Zo kan het dus ook.  En wat was dat weer een belevenis die 500 meter van gisteren... En zeker niet te vergeten shorttrack..    

Jummeke buizer and others: in the hope of revitalizing the LD Cafe, I came up with this simple quiz, just for fun. The responses have been great, and I've also found some interesting facts about Jommeke, Bommel, and Tom Poes. At least some new information for me. And those questions, I find it hard to even "come up" with them, and yes, comics are my thing, so I won't venture into other sections. Anyway, I'll close it on March 1st; it was fun. Thanks for all the responses.

Oh yes, skating, as a follow-up to my earlier post: Lian the Chinese and Joep the Dutchman have spoken and buried the hatchet. That's how it can be done. And what an experience that 500 meters was yesterday... And certainly not to forget the short track...

Ja  Jummeke dat er stripfiguren bestaan als tekenfilm, animatiefilm of poppenfilm is een zekerheid zo hoog als de Eiffeltoren of hoger...
Maar hoe wist je dan effectief ook het album dat verfilmd werd?
Je leeftijd kan iedereen zien, dus in 1975 was de film al 7 jaar uit.
In de jaren 70 denk ik niet dat je het op internet zult gezien hebben.
Misschien in de jaren 80?
Alhoewel. Dan denk ik dat er van You Tube toestanden nog geen sprake was...
Dan kun je dit alleen maar weten door het ooit ergens gelezen te hebben...
 

Yes Jummeke that cartoon characters exist as cartoons, animated films or puppet films is a certainty as high as the Eiffel Tower or higher...
But how did you actually know which album would be made into a film?
Your age is visible to everyone, so in 1975 the film had already been out for 7 years.
In the 70s I don't think you would have seen it on the internet.
Maybe in the 80's?
Although. Then I think there wasn't any YouTube stuff going on yet...
Then you can only know this by having read it somewhere...

buizer Neen, ook niet gezien. Maar ik weet wel dat verschillende stripfiguren als tekenfilm, poppenfilm of film bestaan. De bijkomende info was internetinfo (maar dat had ik al geschreven).
Tegen de echte stripbeheerders en stripverzamelaars kan ik toch niet op.

$$$$$$ No, I haven't seen it either. But I do know that several comic book characters exist as cartoons, puppet shows, or movies. The additional information was internet info (but I already mentioned that).
I can't compete with real comic book managers and collectors.

Ik heb nergens gezegd dat ik die originele versie gezien heb.

Ja de film uit 1968 was wel een beetje voor jouw tijd.
Maar niet voor mijn tijd.
En ik kan je verzekeren.
Bij elke vertoning zat de cinema goed vol.
Er waren nog gezinnen zonder tv in die tijd.
En kleurentelevisies waren nog niet meteen aan de orde.
Dus naar de bioscoop was voor velen een avontuur, een belevenis.
En stripverhalen werden ook niet zoveel verfilmd in die tijd.
En was Jommeke ontzettend populair.
Men zat ook nog maar aan album nr 37...

De film is op video uitgebracht in 1999. Wat waarschijnlijk de verklaring is van de 'betere kwaliteit'.

Want na je 'geboorte' naar mijn weten nooit meer in de bioscoop vertoond...
En eind '70, jaren '80 was er nog teveel sprake van pc en internet...

Yes, the 1968 film was a bit before your time.
But not before my time.
And I can assure you.
The cinema was packed at every screening.
There were still families without TVs in those days.
And color televisions were not yet an option.
So going to the cinema was an adventure, an experience for many.
And comics weren't adapted into films that much in those days.
And Jommeke was incredibly popular.
They were only at album number 37...

Because after your 'birth', to my knowledge, it was never shown in cinemas again...
And in the late 70s and 80s there was still too much talk about PCs and the Internet...

ABRABER en anderen. Na de ophef over die wissel Lian Ziwen versus Joep Wennemars is mij wel duidelijk dat naast sport en emotie ook te veel felheid speelt en weinig zelfreflectie. Er zijn regels qua voorrang, keer de situatie eens om , zou een Nederlandse topper die snelheid maakt net als de Chinese schaatser, ook niet de turbo opzetten?. Immers bij het uitgaan van de bocht heeft Lian voorsprong, hij rijdt zeker niet naast of achter Wennemars. En ook Wennemars weet dat en komt zelf met zijn schaats in aanraking met Lian ttv de wissel. Lian zat fout, inderdaad, echter om dan de situatie niet goed onder de loep te nemen, dat is ook niet goed.  Los van over mogen rijden wat ook na een paar uur rust kansloos zou zijn.

After the fuss about the substitution between Lian Ziwen and Joep Wennemars, it's clear to me that, besides sport and emotion, there's also too much intensity and little self-reflection. There are rules regarding right-of-way, but turn the situation around. Wouldn't a top Dutch skater who's accelerating like the Chinese skater also turn up the heat? After all, Lian has the lead at the exit of the turn; he's certainly not skating next to or behind Wennemars. And Wennemars knows this too and collides with Lian with his skate during the substitution. Lian was wrong, indeed, but not properly assessing the situation is also not good. Not to mention being allowed to skate over, which would be impossible even after a few hours of rest. $$$$$$

Nog een 10 pnt quiz. Een jaren 40 stripalbum wat vroeger best door de verzamelaar werd gezocht, echter weinig volledig gelezen omdat het een echte "jeugdzonde" strip was. Het gaat over 2 vrienden die in een oude trein arriveren op een bijna verlaten station en dito dorpje, eenmaal beland in een vreemd museum met in 1 van de kamers een giga groot boek, waar ze via de bladzijden belanden in een vreemde wereld. Achtervolgd door een liefhebber-detective. Welke album?

De film van Jommeke is in zijn geheel te zien op you tube , ademt de sfeer van de vroege Nederlandse kinderfilms.Blijkbaar bewerkt/gedigitaliseerd, scherpe beelden.

Jommeke's film can be seen in its entirety on YouTube; it exudes the atmosphere of early Dutch children's films. Apparently edited/digitized, sharp images.

Het origineel is wat voor mijn tijd, maar het succes toen valt te betwijfelen.
Leuk wistjedatje (eerlijkheidshalve van internet) : dateert uit 1968, Jommeke is de zoon van Jef Nys, Filiberke is een neef van Jef Nys, Flip is (de stem van) Jef Nys. Ook de montage is verdienstelijk amateurswerk van Nys.

Fun fact (honestly, from the internet): it dates back to 1968, Jommeke is the son of Jef Nys, Filiberke is a nephew of Jef Nys, and Flip is (the voice of) Jef Nys. The editing is also a commendable amateur job by Nys.
