Okay, this seems to be correct for the other stamps in my collection. Thanks for the replies!

It would indeed be best to put the dimensions of the image in the catalog; that is clear and more accurate when you are measuring.

At LD, we measure the entire stamp kristoffvds . So from tooth to tooth.

The question is always: who measures what? The likeness, or the total size?

The input for #5809313 seems to give the dimensions of the image. That eliminates problems with incorrect perforation. Perhaps OP can post an image and clarify what has been measured.

Normally it is 21 x 27 mm

According to history, this was entered in the same way. With a correction at almost the same time, 11 years ago. But unfortunately rejected by some RTBF or other.

Maybe this one #5809313
But actually, this can't be it either.
I think the dimensions of this item are incorrect.
Normally it is 21 x 27 mm

I have a stamp which looks like Lastdodo #1232461 and #1450621. However, mine is 20 x 25 mm, which is significantly smaller than the ones in the catalog. Is there maybe another stamp in the catalog with the same image but with smaller dimensions? Thank you
Rene

You need to report a personal issue like this via the contact form (at the bottom of every page on the site via Contact) scared

I closed my shop a while ago and now I want to reopen it, but I can't. I click on 'open shop' but it gives an error message saying it won't work.
How should I solve it?

Title: Wanted: Break Out! No. 10 (March 2005) – Hunk of the Week

Hello everyone,

I am looking for Break Out! issue 10 from March 2005.

The reason is that I am trying to find a specific edition in which the "Hunk of the Week" section presumably featured a boy named Jelmer Pasveer from Oost-Souburg (Zeeland). He played football for RCS at the time, and as far as I recall, a recent injury was also mentioned in the piece.

Does anyone have this issue in their collection and would they be willing to check if this section is included? A scan or photo of the relevant page would be a huge help.

Naturally, I am also interested in taking over the number myself if it becomes available.

Thank you very much in advance for your input and review!

Yours sincerely,
V lions.

Just learned that if I use (the perception of) difficult words in my text, I should do so in this café. But fortunately, I see that the fun here consists more of quizzes and other games.

Just an update: I’ve discovered that this 2008 campaign was localized for the Scandinavian market and featured specific markings like 'Partydags.' Does anyone happen to have this in their personal archives or photos?

Hi everyone,
I am a collector and I am currently researching the 2008 McDonald's 'Music Academy' Happy Meal box released in Europe.
I am not looking to buy; I am simply trying to find a clear photograph or any historical information about this specific promotional release to complete my collection documentation. Just to clarify, I am looking for the continental European release (specifically the version that features the text 'Partydags'), not the UK version.
If anyone has any information or a photo of this box from back in 2008, I would be very grateful if you could share it.
Thank you for your help!

Boekenmagazijn , that is indeed correct; due to three strokes in 2021, it was impossible for me to attend the formerly amazing event. And I was really looking forward to it, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment—for me, that is. It was reasonably crowded, so many people probably enjoyed it.
Years ago, the comic book stalls already started in the Jacobijnstraat; I always found, and still find, a delightful browse the best thing.......so be it.

DELGADITO
You apparently haven't been for a few years, because since the move to De Koepel (in 2024), there are no more "banana boxes" to be found at these comic days. It is simply a different approach, which focuses on the creators, i.e. the artists and publishers, including small press.

Despite the fact that the fair was not announced here, and although the weather outside was beautiful, there were quite a lot of visitors on both days.

Well, I just got back from Haarlem, the Comic Book Days, and what a disappointment. I always loved browsing through the many stalls on the main market square during these days, next to the outdoor cafes etc., where a pianist would sometimes be playing beautifully. However, none of that was the case; not a single dealer was present. There was some stuff in the dome, but nothing special for me. The only thing I liked was that, according to Sam Peeters, I managed to get my hands on the very last copy of "Iedereen op Claudia," naturally accompanied by a beautiful drawing. So, a somewhat positive day after all. Years ago, this was a great market/fair, but in my opinion, that is truly over; a terrible shame. That is my opinion, sorry.

Hi, so I'm Peter. I have a substantial collection of Donald Ducks, starting from the first issue in October 1952, complete volumes from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and beyond. Also, many loose issues starting from 1952. From 1952 to 1970, everything is neatly packed individually in a sealed plastic folder. Additionally, I have a number of professionally bound complete volumes, including the one from 1954. I am going to document everything over the coming weeks and then offer it for sale. I still need to learn exactly how to do that here, but from reading all this, it seems like a lot of tips are being exchanged. Those are very welcome.

Hello!

My name is Damian, I am 26 years old, and I am a collector of world coins and banknotes. I started collecting thanks to my grandfather; he gave me some old European banknotes and coins back then, including Italian lira and British pounds. I see it as a fun hobby and an opportunity to build something that I can one day pass on to my future children. Furthermore, it is my way of remembering my grandfather.

I am currently working primarily according to the 'one-country-one-coin' strategy, with a focus on a few countries, such as the United Kingdom, the United States, and the Netherlands. I recently managed to secure a number of commemorative coins for the semi-quincentennial through a seller in Canada.

Anyway, nice to meet you, and who knows, I might drop by the forum sometime.

Greeting,

Damian
