Lots of 'little creases' and 'fading' too.
And the bottom staple doesn't seem to be completely secure anymore either...

a 7, with the mention of a (former?) owner on page 1 (or 3 if the cover counts).

DutchComics That's a nice different approach! I see 5 "troublesome" ones; I'll just call that 0.50 digit on the front and bottom of the pages grubby.

Here is another nice challenge for week 28: Batman Classics #66 from 1975. Good luck!

There are no hidden or hard-to-see defects this time. For that reason, there are no grader notes included, as all the defects mentioned are visible. There are also clearly visible defects that are less severe and are not mentioned. You will have to look closely ;-)

Please do not feel obligated. I, and perhaps other readers as well, would find it a nice addition if participants, alongside the grade, also indicated what stands out to them about the booklet. This may be done by means of a brief explanation of the basis for the chosen grade.

Is there really no one who has the aforementioned flyer? And yes, this comic series was never popular. However, in terms of illustrations and colors, there is nothing wrong with it... And the text on the flyers provides a nice snapshot of the time regarding how "people" thought about religious books for young people in comic form. I am also curious if there is an illustration of Quick and Flupke on it.

The final standings of the copy of Durfal Classics album #1 posted on June 28:

Harry56: 6.5
ApiSta: 7.0
Buzzard: 7.0
TIA: 7.5

The result:

For reference: 6.0, 6.5, 7.0 or 7.5 is comparable to Good condition (Fine).

All very close together and two spot-on! Compliments. Well done!

In terms of time period, it could be possible, but unfortunately, I can't find a cover anywhere to substantiate this. Do you have any idea?

Thanks, everything is fine!
I can no longer reproduce the double display of series/hero Pandora Box [Alcante] by author Alain Henriet either. It is displayed correctly now. Apparently some magic at LD!

Could it be this one?

The Enclosed Land (volume 4 of the science fiction comic series Rorix ) , written by Michel de Bom and drawn by Olivier Wozniak . This specific album was published in 1991 by Lombard Publishing.

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a comic strip that I remember from my childhood. I only have memories, so here we go:

  • Published (well?) before 2003
  • Male protagonist
  • Dutch language, so perhaps Dutch or Belgian, but it could just as easily be translated.
  • Science fiction
  • Murder mystery aboard a building on the back of a giant snail traveling through the desert
  • The snail passes one or more dead snails.
  • One of the suspects is a person with the head of an animal. This turns out to be the murderer who killed the victim using an invisible third arm. His name possibly begins with a B.
  • Another suspect is an androgynous person in a red sweater and wearing a sort of knight's helmet. This turns out to be an old acquaintance of the protagonist. The implication is that there are multiple comics in this series.

I hope you have an idea, because I really want to find this comic strip again.

Thank you!

Thanks, everything has been adjusted/merged, please check.

I cannot reproduce the problem observed by Alain Henriet on the foreign-language sites.
Would you please add some screenshots?

La Mauvaise Tête ran in Spirou from issue 840 to issue 869, which corresponds to week 49 of that year. It seems unlikely to me that the album was released in the same year. Source: BD Oubilées.

The last edition is that of 2025-2026.
You can consult Bedetheque online.
