Recent developments have shaken the 'grip' under my feet a bit ... But the way you've adapted it, I think it's beautiful, and very workable to look up and find something. Hopefully everyone thinks so too...

I do have a comment about the images, because short I think something about that. Thanks to the good overview I was able to quickly (for 1 international, the gray one) determine the following:
#4298303 - 2013 ... image correct? #5571785 might be a duplication, but maybe with the correct image?
#6896997 - 2017 ... image correct?
#7379999 - 2018 ... image correct?
You can quickly determine the same defect at, for example, Nominal value '1' (the blue one).
But maybe it's the intention that it can't be determined so quickly ... I don't remember.

I can't figure out what the second image of #5571785 to propose.
Something similar at #5571775 .
Even more at #5571823 . The Species is "Variety", but what exactly are we seeing here? Three stamps and three...???????

Edit: Ah, I got it. It is, of course, the backs of the stamps. At least, the paper carrier sheet on the back of the self-adhesive seal.
That begs the question of how someone can have those stamped in their collection (or shop).

I'm not a stamp man portbetaald , but I think the first one falls under postal value piece; roughly speaking (motivation) > voucher or prepaid. (returnable in country of return shipment). ?

One series does, the other doesn't ... the grip is completely gone.

Series such as ' 1981 Koningin Beatrix type 'Struycken' ' must therefore be broken into pieces every year. All different issues: per year.
Whether it is flowers or queens, whether it is Germany or the Netherlands. Long-term series: issue per year.
I wouldn't know how to explain it any other way.

For long-running series where the stamps must be together as a series, you only enter one year, namely the year in which the first stamp of the series was issued. This is in the manual. I don't think it's possible to get in the way. It doesn't say anything about roman characters, exclamation marks, or parentheses.

An International Reply Coupon was used as a form of payment. As an example I can say that my son, as an avid radio amateur, used these IRCs a lot. When two radio amateurs made contact, so-called QSL cards were often exchanged as proof of making that connection. An IRC was sent along to ensure that they also received such a card (wanted collectibles). A recipient could exchange it at a post office for stamps worth the postage of a simple letter sent by sea.
The IRC was mentioned in the official documents of the UPU and bore the logo of the Universal Postal Union. To the best of our knowledge, the entire regulation of the IRCs has since been abolished. I'd like to put them in the "other" postal stationery group, similar to the paid reply postcard.

I don't think an IRC belongs in the PZ section. These will cause confusion and pollution. I prefer to see these in the Other section, possibly under a separate species.

A bit of distraction in between, that gives some more time and space to restore the 'foundation' behind it in connection with 'Issuance' (specifically: the long-running series ...).

This issue has been resolved, thanks for reporting.

I came across those IRCs in the items without Issue in NLD, hence. Don't tell me. Until someone throws them out of Stamps I will then mark them as 7451Dick suggested. I have now reduced the 'without issue' by about 150. Now the really tricky ones are left like personal/region stamps without even a year.

I have had about 280 of the 380 without issue in NL. What is left now is mainly yearless. I find those personal stamp frames too difficult to place to do anything about it. Also a lot of Ability Regional Mail that I can't make chocolate out of. I will continue to look within the stamps with issue looking for duplicate and yearless issues, but if someone wants to look at the "without issue"?

@Salentin came across the following curiousity while importing Bhutan:

If you search for Bhutan, selection "Everything" and 1974-1974, you will see, among other things, the stamps with the issue name
1974 World population year neatly next to each other, followed by the series ( #9344963 ) and the associated block ( #9344989 ).
Now look at the first stamp (lowest face value, #9344949 ) and if you click on issue name, the already present lower LD numbers #8263851 and #4020267 not shown!
If you do the same using these two lower numbers, you will only see both of these.
So it seems that the issue names are NOT the same. Nevertheless, via "copy and paste" it has been ensured that these are identical for all 6 items. So it can't be caused by a hidden space or anything.
It is striking, however, that the issue 1974 World Population Year appears 3 times in the fold-out file.
Who can explain this?

It can be explained via the administrator module, 'issue name'.
Several 'issues' have been created, possibly originating from importers with different user languages.
Via the administrator module you can rename the 'smallest' issues with eg tmp1, tmp2, ... as an addition.
Then search for that issue in the catalog and select the appropriate issue.
Then remove the 'empty' issues (with tmpx as an addition) in the administrator module, and it's solved.
For large numbers, Postmaster can combine the issues. Then you don't have any work to do as an administrator (but Postmaster does :)).

I'm going to try something :)

I have already adapted dozens of them in recent months, with success.

Important is
- afterwards remove the issues with 'tmpx' in the name via the administrator module (only works if there are '0' items, so you're safe there).
- via the catalog all items, from whatever area they are (with filter on 'everything') to find and put correctly. Otherwise the 'tmpx' issues will not be empty afterwards.

You can also adjust an issue, across different areas, that is wrong in one go. There it is important if you change the name that you first check whether the issue name will be unique. Otherwise you will have duplicate issue names again.
Administrators are in principle very meticulous with attention to detail, so there will be no problem there :)

Open lists such as Issue are checked overnight for empty values, which are then automatically deleted.
With closed lists such as Theme, this can only be done by administrators.

Still I delete them. It's an extra check for emptiness, and nobody can use that 'tmp' issue name by accident.
Sometimes an FDC or Maximum card remains lying around, and it must therefore be given the appropriate issue name. I like to be in control of what I do.
Finished (cleaned up) is neat.

Raoul62 Thanks, it's all right. It does mean that if you correct an issue name to get the series together (in case two different issue names are used within one series), you should always test afterwards whether it works everywhere. Even the "copy and paste" trick is no guarantee of success. Do we have to check everything from our predecessors?

Always check the issue afterwards. If you determine that it is incorrect:
- either apply my 'trick' (if some items);
- or pass it on to Daan to combine the issues (if many items).

Checking via the administrator module is never bad. Takes a bit long to get the screen, March after that you can detect 'similar' issues. Open something like this every time (in a new tab) and you see how many items are in it.
Then adjust via the catalog.
This way you can regularly make some 'small' excess issues disappear. Then they are no longer in the selection list (entry screen). That is anticipating the 'oil slick syndrome'.

There are many issues that are redundant. Not before.
If you now click on an issue name in an item, you will get an overview limited to the country/region. In the past this was not the case, and many issues were added with I, II, III, ... in order to only get those items from that country in the overview. Now that is no longer necessary, but all those different issues are still present (in use).
Example:

If you want to put in some time, you can simplify a lot this way. But unfortunately ... there are still twice as many new / changed items coming in than are reviewed ... The mountain just keeps getting higher.

Still, it pays to do something with those issue names every now and then. Especially if you see something odd. To rectify such a thing is on the one hand improving the past, and on the other hand ensuring that fewer new problems can arise for that issue.

And: never just change an issue name as administrator (in the administrator screen). First check if the new name already exists. Otherwise a 'duplicate' name will appear in the selection list (of the input screen).
