Music/Color of the LP label/label [beginner question]59 messages

Om de werkwijze buiten de postzegelrubriek te verkennen wil ik mijn "collectie" van 5 platen toevoegen.".  

Item #9458303 toont de hoes en releasenummer exact zoals ik die heb. Op de derde foto is een geel etiket te zien, bij bijzonderheden staat "rood label" is dat niet tegenstrijdig?

Op het midden van mijn langspeelplaat prijkt in het midden een blauw etiket wat exact hetzelfde bedrukt is als op de foto. 
Vormen geluidsdragers met en anderkleurig etiket/label een apart item, of is deze kleur niet van belang?  

 Mogelijk is het antwoord al ergens gegeven maar ik kan het niet vinden.

Item #9458303 shows the cover and release number exactly as I have it. The third photo shows a yellow label, the details say "red label", isn't that contradictory?

There is a blue label in the middle of my LP that is printed exactly the same as in the photo.
Do sound carriers with a different colored label constitute a separate item, or is this color not important?

The answer may have already been given somewhere, but I can't find it.

Voor zover ik weet is de drager leidend. Een ander(e kleur) etiket wort dus een nieuw item.

Ik zie dat in het Handboek de term Label in twee betekenissen wordt gebruikt, voor zowel de uitgevende platenmaatschappij (waarvoor een veld beschikbaar is), als voor het etiket op het vinyl (de term 'etiket' wordt niet gebruikt). Dat kan tot verwarring leiden.

As far as I know, the carrier is leading. A different color label therefore becomes a new item.

I see that in the Handbook the term Label is used in two senses, for both the issuing record company (for which a field is available), and for the label on the vinyl (the term 'label' is not used). That can lead to confusion.

P.S. Het is ook opvallend dat het Franse en Duitse Handboek een compleet andere indeling hebben dan de Nederlandse en Engelse versie. Dat suggereert dat de regels niet identiek zijn. De term "label" komt hier ook helemaal niet in voor, ook al heet het invoerveld hetzelfde.

PS It is also striking that the French and German Manual have a completely different layout than the Dutch and English versions. That suggests that the rules are not identical. The term "label" does not appear here at all, even though the input field is called the same.

Je hebt een zogenaamde label-variant en die mogen ingevoerd worden als nieuw item. Zelfs een kleine afwijking in tekst of plaatsing van tekst op het label veroorzaakt een label-variant.
In de "platenwereld" heb je inderdaad twee betekenissen van label. De term etiket wordt niet gebruikt. Tot nu toe heeft het nog niet tot verwarring geleid ;-)
Het Duitse en Franse handboek ken ik niet zo goed. Ik maak wel aanpassingen in het Nederlandse en Engelse handboek als dat nodig is.

You have a so-called label variant and this can be entered as a new item. Even a small deviation in text or placement of text on the label causes a label variant.
In the "record world" there are indeed two meanings of label. The term label is not used. So far it hasn't caused any confusion ;-)
I don't know the German and French manual very well. I do make adjustments to the Dutch and English manual if necessary.

Dick52 bedankt. Op het een en ander manier lukt zoeken me nog niet goed. Na het toevoegen kwam ik de LP met het blauwe label wel tegen. Mijn toevoeging heb ik meteen maar gelabeld als doublure :-/ Excuses.

Zijn er trucs om soortgelijke LP's naast elkaar te zien?
Is het niet handig om Releasenummer "klikbaar" te maken?

Verder viel met op dat er soms "Reuther, Franz" en soms "Reuther, Frank" wordt gebruikt.

Volgens Wikipedia is "Franz" de juiste schrijfwijze.

Dick52 thanks. For some reason I'm still having trouble searching. After adding it I did come across the LP with the blue label. I immediately labeled my addition as duplication :-/ Apologies.

Are there any tricks to see similar LPs side by side?
Isn't it useful to make Release Number "clickable"?

It was also noticeable that sometimes "Reuther, Franz" and sometimes "Reuther, Frank" are used.

According to Wikipedia, "Franz" is the correct spelling.

In het begin is het een beetje lastig.
Maar als je naar muziek gaat en je zoek boven in de zoeklijst op het Releasenummer dan waren bij jouw voorbeeld twee items te voorschijn gekomen, nu drie met jouw Doublure.
Maar dan moeten natuurlijk wel bij de items die nu bij muziek staan de Releasenummers wel goed ingegeven zijn, dit is niet altijd gegeven.
Bij jouw voorbeeld is het OT 28.888 dus met een punt tussen de de cijfers, er is er ook een met OT 28 888 dus zonder punt en spatie tussen de cijfers.

It's a little tricky at first.
But if you go to music and search for the Release number at the top of the search list, then two items would have appeared in your example, now three with your Doublure.
But then of course the Release numbers for the items that are currently listed under music must be entered correctly, this is not always possible.
In your example it is OT 28.888 with a dot between the numbers, there is also one with OT 28 888 so without a dot and space between the numbers.

Ik heb een 2013 persing van #2206003. Met labels "Track Record", "Polydor" en "Universal Music".
Die staat er volgens mij nog niet in?

Maar helaas gaat die niet altijd op  heeft met historie van LD te maken
Is selecteren op scan
Dus voor het label scan 3 alleen is heel,heel lang niet verplicht geweest
Als het label daar geplaatst is kan je het in overzicht zien en naast elkaar zien selectie op titel of releasenummer
Eerst op artiest, - drager - release nummer- titel en scan 3
Dan zie je snel de overeenkomsten

So for the label scan 3 alone has not been mandatory for a very, very long time
Once the label has been placed there you can see it in overview and see a side by side selection by title or release number
First by artist, - carrier - release number - title and scan 3
Then you will quickly see the similarities

Dick52 als er uitzonderingen zijn op de regel van 4 plaatjes vanwege gesealde LP's dan kan het alleen "verplicht" worden via het handboek. Het lijkt mij wel logisch om zowel een scan te hebben van de A- en B-zijde nu dat LD meer plaatjes toestaat.

Zelf heb ik ook foto's van de bedrukte binnenhoes als afbeelding 5 en 6 opgenomen (zie #11003). 

Dick52 if there are exceptions to the 4 picture rule due to sealed LPs then it can only be made "mandatory" via the manual. It seems logical to me to have a scan of both the A and B sides now that LD allows more images.

I have also included photos of the printed inner sleeve as images 5 and 6 (see #11003 ).

Wat ik in eerste instantie een beetje mis is om "gelijke" buitenhoezen naast elkaar te krijgen. Zoeken via scan 3 (als aanwezig) gaan inderdaad ook best goed.

What I initially miss a bit is getting "similar" outer covers next to each other. Searching via scan 3 (if present) also works quite well indeed.

Steeds meer fotobewerkings-apps voor de mobiele telefoon (bv. Snapseed) hebben een functie voor automatische perspectiefcorrectie. Ik heb er zelf geen ervaring mee, maar heb wel bij anderen gezien dat het perfect werkt voor foto's van rechthoekige voorwerpen.

More and more photo editing apps for mobile phones (e.g. Snapseed) have a function for automatic perspective correction. I have no experience with it myself, but I have seen from others that it works perfectly for photos of rectangular objects.

Ik heb op mijn telefoon (Android) de app Fotoscan. Die werkt goed. Maar voor LP-hoezen gebruik ik altijd een statief en een digitale spiegelreflexcamera op vloer met een tegelpatroon. Dan kan je vrij snel een heleboel voor- en achterkanten fotograferen. Na afloop werk ik ze bij met het gratis GIMP,

Wat betreft jouw dubbele invoer: ik heb je item niet afgekeurd, maar samengevoegd met de bestaande. Zo blijf je als bezitter gekoppeld aan het item ;-) Jou label-scan is iets mooier dan de oude, dus als je wilt kan je die vervangen door de jouwe.

I have the Fotoscan app on my phone (Android). That works well. But for LP covers I always use a tripod and a digital SLR camera on a tiled floor. Then you can photograph a lot of fronts and backs quite quickly. Afterwards I update them with the free GIMP,

Regarding your duplicate entry: I have not rejected your item, but merged it with the existing one. This way you, as the owner, remain linked to the item ;-) Your label scan is slightly nicer than the old one, so if you want you can replace it with yours.

Niet dat ik graag reclame maak, maar Helv Boekenmagazijn zowel voor  win als mac : Photoscape x (neem de free, pro is minder), kun je alle kanten mee op knip/perspectief/rotatie/trekken etc.. Geen storende recl., al 3 jaar in gebruik. Hoe hij ook op telefoon werkt, kan ik helaas niet zeggen (is er wel).

Not that I like to advertise, but Helv Boekenmagazijn both for Win and Mac: Photoscape x (get the free one, pro is less), you can cut/perspective/rotate/ pulling etc.. No disturbing advertising, already in use for 3 years. Unfortunately I can't say how it works on the phone (it does).
