As you know, sugar packets only has 1 language field for the title, so the title must be in the language of the country.

so the title must be in the language of the country.

and if so

Yes.
It's been there about 5 times now....

It is not clear to me what the intention is, should one describe it in Chinese or another foreign language and if so, can the system also search for it in Chinese or another foreign language as a title name in the Dutch search field?

As you know, sugar packets only has one language field for the title, so the title must be in the language of the country. Then you'll have to look up what it says, but you have to anyway, otherwise you can't search for it.

And then look it up in Chinese, for example, and translate it into the Dutch language rule, or in Chinese?

And I'm not getting any response from Tom, but you created the manual, so you can also change it in your version, otherwise you'll get into arguments about that again...

I wonder if translating and describing it into Dutch makes sense,

I didn't mention translating. I said in the language on the bag, and sometimes it's in English, so you use that. That's why you should fill in the fields correctly. And keep the same type of bags the same, so for example, don't change one bag shown and leave the other 20 as is. Then you can find your lens.

I can't change the manual, Tom can do that, so if you want a change you have to ask Tom.

Then you will have to adjust the manual book.

I wonder if translating and describing it in Dutch makes sense, given that foreign products are often labeled with sugar, sucre, zucker, etc. on the bag or stick wrapper.
It's a lot of searching, resulting in a lot of duplication, which in turn leads to angry and frustrated faces.

As you know, sugar packets only has one language field for the title, so the title must be in the local language. Then you'll have to look up what it says, but you have to anyway, otherwise you can't search for it.

Tip, use google lens or image search to find out what it says, then select the text then ctrl c (copy) and at the title ctrl v (paste).

There are also tons of sugar sticks that only have "Sugar" on them, so that requires some searching on the part of the collector. Good descriptions, so filling in the fields, will help.

If there's nothing on it, write [None] in square brackets. If necessary, include a description of what's on the bag after it (see the manual).

It is also important that you fill in the fields correctly so that you can sort by links you are looking for.

I also mentioned in the manual's design that it was primarily based on Dutch sugar packets because there simply weren't enough foreign packets. But that information was omitted or removed because I just couldn't see it anymore.

And a p.s.,
The first post is from 2013, we have a slightly different site now.....

And how do you handle sugar packets with no labeling, like sticks, or foreign packets that are illegible, like Chinese, Arabic, or some other language? Or packets with nothing at all, or packets, sticks, or wrappers containing nothing but sugar—do you have to go through dozens of pages?
I have tons of these types but there is no mention of them in the manual?

I saw those buildings too, but the text there doesn't have the "z" on it. I was also looking for an advertisement that did. You found it, thanks stripspeldjes.

Can anyone decipher the second word? So, Grand... Currently, it says Bazar, but I have a feeling that's wrong. But I don't see it with this one either. #11385749

In the "Other" section, the " Stamp Impression" item only concerns the impression itself. Where the stamp impression is stamped is irrelevant.

No, it also works with stamps, so why not with sugar packets? Just make sure to place the side with the stamp on image 1, because that's the key.

If the stamp is then placed with the stamps, isn't there a duplicate in the Catalog? After all, the sugar packet is already there. And do you then place it twice with yourself (1 stamp and 1 sugar packet?)

Sugar packets bear various stamps from collectors and dealers back when collecting was still a hype. I also have several of these HH packets. These are not included in the catalog. The only exception we still make is the HCR (Hotel Café Restaurant) stamp on a generic packet.

There's no need to place notifications in the catalog. You can, however, do so in your own notes.

Stamps can perhaps be placed under other?

Apparently that is not a variant, because my version was rejected.
Can someone also explain why or what the letters HH mean?
